Get PUMPED for PUMPKIN TIME!
Maybe you’re already pumped. We don’t blame you, pumpkin spice IS back. Despite the fact that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled this year, we’re still gearing up for some frightful delights in Magic Kingdom this fall! Let’s take a look at alllll of the entertainment we can expect from the Disney World this spooky season!
A trend in the reopened parks has been new and innovative ways to interact with our favorite characters safely. In the Halloween season, that means we’ll be getting a BRAND-NEW Halloween-themed cavalcade with familiar faces like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and more — all sporting their Halloween costumes of course!
There are more special character appearances for the season too. You might spot a costumed duo over in Frontierland causing a ruckus, so keep an eye out for Chip and Dale! Other Disney pals will be making the rounds on Main Street in a horse-drawn trolley as well!
In additional to pals, though, guests may also anticipate getting a glimpse of something a little more wicked… Disney has shared that on select days, guests may see a cavalcade of Disney Villains in the park! Characters may include Gaston, Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, and Jafar.
You’ll also want to be on the lookout for a “nightmarish procession featuring” Jack Skellington!
But THAT’S NOT ALL… while the festivities kick off on September 15th, a very special group will be entertaining guests once again in Magic Kingdom starting September 20th: the Dapper Dans! Or, should we say, it’s the Cadaver Dans, their Halloween-time alter-egos, who will be greeting guests once again with songs during the season!
The final entertainment offering throughout the full season of September 15th through October 31st is themed photo ops from the PhotoPass photographers, so get ready to make your best monster face!
Even without the typical parades and fireworks that we can usually expect during Halloweentime, we’re pretty excited to take in the sights and sounds of this year’s entertainment. So, we’ll see you soon for some spooky time!
