Florida weather is notoriously finicky. Thunderstorms and rain can happy at any time, even at Disney World, but that doesn’t mean an end to the fun!

In fact, a rainy day at Disney World can be one of the best times ever! Not only does the rain occasionally clear out crowds from the parks, but it also brings its own fun events, like the Rainy Day Cavalcades!
So grab your umbrella (or raincoat), because we spotted the Rainy Day version of one of the Fantasyland Character Cavalcades at Magic Kingdom! If you’ve never witnessed a rainy version of a parade in Magic Kingdom, let us explain. To help shelter characters from the elements, they typically hitch a ride in one of the Main Street Transportation Vehicles!
The cavalcade started by becoming curiouser and curiouser as Alice waved to guests from one of Main Street, U.S.A.’s double-decker buses.

Alice was joined by that silly old bear Pooh, Tigger, Peter Pan, and Prince Ali!

But NO ONE does a Rainy Day Cavalcade like this guy. It’s GASTON, who is ALWAYS a guest favorite at the parks (well, he is, if you ask HIM).

The Rainy Day Cavalcades are LOADS of fun, and we’ve been able to see a few of them now, including one with all the princesses! It’s one of the times when we’re perfectly happy to get caught in the rain at Disney World!
