We’ve seen quite a few construction walls around Disney World lately!
From the major EPCOT transformation to Magic Kingdom entrance sign, there are quite a few projects happening in Disney World at the moment. And on our latest visit to Magic Kingdom, we spotted some MASSIVE construction walls surrounding one of the park’s iconic attractions!
When Magic Kingdom first reopened, there were construction walls surrounding the queue of “it’s a small world.” And while those walls have since come down, there are now more construction walls surrounding the ride’s entrance — and they’re quite imposing!
The construction walls extend across the front of the attraction, which definitely shakes up the aesthetics of this section of Fantasyland!
The ride is still operating and we’re not exactly sure what’s being done behind the scenes — although we did recently spot a permit to “remove and reinstall graphics” at the attraction! We’ll continue to keep an eye on “it’s a small world” on our future visits to Magic Kingdom, so stay tuned for more updates!
Here’s what’s new in Magic Kingdom!

Sandy, the attraction reopened in December with a paint job on the exterior.
