Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party might be canceled this year, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of fun things to do on Halloween, even if you’re stuck at home!
If you’re in the parks on Halloween, you’ll be treated to Halloween cavalcades, which include characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas, but on Halloween night, you can attend a virtual Nightmare Before Christmas concert in your costume (or pajamas — your choice!).
The one-night-only event comes courtesy of The Actors Fund and the Lymphoma Research Foundation, in cooperation with Tim Burton, Dannie Elfman, and Disney Music Group. James Monroe Iglehart will host — if you recall, he was the Genie in the original Broadway production of Aladdin.
The cast also includes: Rafael Casal, Adrienne Warren, Danny Burstein, Nik Walker, Lesli Margherita, Rob McClure, and more. Tickets can be purchased on Vimeo for $4.99. The virtual concert will air live there on October 31st at 7PM EST. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to The Actors Fund and the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
So, basically, for less than the price of a bag of candy, you can get some quality Halloween spooky entertainment while also donating to two very good causes!
