Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to interactive experiences that allow you to build your own droid or create your own lightsaber.
Sith Holocron with Force Guidance Crystal
Well, Disney just upped the ante with a NEW way to customize your lightsaber and holocrons! The kyber crystal is the force behind any lightsaber and holocron. At Galaxy’s Edge, you can choose the color of your kyber crystal to fit your mood and display what side of the force you represent. Are you on the Dark Side or a Jedi fighting with the Resistance? You can represent your choice with kyber crystals. The crystals customize your lightsaber AND allow you to interact with a holocron!
Disney has redesigned two of the Jedi and Sith crystals and they are now known as Force Guidance Kyber Crystals. You can find the separately packaged crystals at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. They are inspired by Yoda and Darth Vader. Obviously, the two crystals give off very different vibes! The Jedi Holocron is a dark green and emits the same color when placed inside a lightsaber or holocron.
Yoda Force Guidance Crystals
Like some of the previous kyber crystals, once you place the Yoda crystal inside a Jedi Holocron, it speaks! It becomes your own personal Jedi Magic 8-Ball that will give you guidance on any of your journeys. Simply ask it a question and Yoda will help you find your way!
Yoda Force Guidance Crystal
The Darth Vader Guidance Crystal is a vibrant red and can be placed inside a Sith Holocron or lightsaber. Once installed, feel free to ask Darth Vader any question you like! You can hear his infamous breathing and foreboding nature when he speaks. But beware, his advice might not be as positive as Yoda’s! We asked the holocron “if today was going to be an easy day for us” and he answered, “Do not put your faith in the prophecy.” Yikes!

Each crystal is $14.99 and you must own a Galaxy’s Edge lightsaber or holocron to use them. Grab your interactive kyber crystal and let the dark or light side guide you on your next adventure!

FYI- these crystals are not new….they are just in different packaging. The ‘Magic 8-ball’ crystal have been around since day 1 of galaxies edge.
