Since the reopening of Disney World, character meet and greets have looked a little bit different.
You can spot your favorites in the character cavalcades at each park, or even frolicking in the grass at EPCOT. Recently, we saw Anna and Elsa greet guests from a distance and now, another crowd-favorite is returning to the meet and greet scene!
As we were strolling through the United Kingdom pavilion today in EPCOT, we grew curiouser and curiouser as we seemed to spot a familiar face from a distance…and it happened to be Alice from Alice in Wonderland!Â
While we have seen Alice hanging out in the Gazebo lately, today, Alice was meeting in another location!
Alice was out in the United Kingdom pavilion’s garden watering the flowers, looking cuter than ever! She will happily pose for photos or selfies with guests from a distance. Now, she’s just a bit closer to guests and has more room to move around and explore the flowers!
The area where Alice stood is blocked off by gates to keep guests socially distanced. This is what we’ve seen when meeting Anna and Elsa as well. It allows for a bit more interaction but ensures that everyone can keep a solid distance.
Keep an eye out for Alice next time you are in the United Kingdom pavilion at EPCOT. We will continue to be on the lookout for more distanced meet and greets at the Disney parks so stay tuned!
