If you have kids traveling with you, or family members that love the water, choosing a resort with a great pool can be essential to your Disney World vacation!
If you’ve ever stayed at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, then you probably DISTINCTLY remember what the pool looks like there — you can’t miss the giant clown slide! However, the Keister Coaster (the official name for the clown slide) went under refurbishment a few months ago, and Disney later revealed that the slide would be getting an all-new look. The new version of the slide will feature Mickey and friends, and today we got another look at the progress!
Two days ago, Imagineer Zach Riddley shared a photo of the slide on his Instagram (@thezachriddley), and in the picture, we could see Mickey Mouse along with the name of the slide. However, there was a problem — on the new design, Keister was misspelled as Kiester. We all make mistakes, folks. As Hannah Montana would say, “Everybody makes mistakes. Everybody has those days.”
Disney realized their mistake, and Zach later took down the post and shared on his Instagram story that they felt “goofy” about the typo. Even Imagineers make mistakes!
But this morning, we got a NEW version of the post, and this one came with more details, so we’re definitely not upset! The first picture gives proof that they did indeed fix the spelling mistake — it now correctly says “Keister!”
The second photo gives us a better look at which friends are joining Mickey on the slide — it’s Goofy and Minnie! They look like they’re all having a blast.
Daisy is also there and it looks like she’s enjoying a relaxing day in the sun. She looks as sassy and stylish as usual — where can we get those sunglasses?
It’s not very fun to make mistakes, but this one brought us some extra photos and a more thorough sneak peek, so thanks, Disney! We’re interested to see what the slide looks like once it’s completed and we will be following the progress.
Stay tuned as we share the latest updates on Disney’s upcoming projects!
