Late night dining in Disney World used to be a whole lot easier before the temporary closures earlier this year. Now, with limited dining options and shorter park hours, it can be quite the challenge to find food past a certain hour!
We discovered in the past that you can, in fact, order food from outside the parks (including Disney Springs) and have it delivered right to your hotel. But is that still the case?
In short, the answer is YES! You can order off of most major food delivery companies like Uber Eats, Postmates, and Grubhub and have your food delivered straight to your hotel!
This is a great option for those nights when the parks are closed early, you don’t quite have the energy to head over to Disney Springs, or your hotel has limited late night dining options!
Unfortunately, you can’t order food from inside the parks (we tried and it didn’t work out like we had hoped), but if a restaurant outside of the parks and resorts offers delivery, you should be able to order! Just enter your resort’s location on the website and it should tell you what restaurants are available in your area for delivery.
Keep in mind that you may need to wait additional time for your food to arrive (we’re talking up to a couple of HOURS) depending on how busy a location is and how far away your resort hotel is.
In the case of ordering from a Disney Springs location, remember that the driver would need to drive to Disney Springs, find parking, walk to the location, walk back to their car, and THEN drive the food to the hotel.
So if you’re in a rush, you might want to make sure you have a backup plan just in case. Also, be aware that delivery fees may be higher depending on how far your hotel is from the restaurant you want to order food from.
So yes, you can have food delivered to your hotel, just be sure to pack your patience, have a backup plan, and tip appropriately!
