The installation of EPCOT’s new Leave a Legacy panels continues!
Guests used to be able to take a picture that would be displayed on one of the Leave a Legacy monoliths. Tens of thousands of people participated before Leave a Legacy was temporarily removed from the park entrance as part of EPCOT’s reimagining. But now, the panels are being reinstalled at a new location just outside the park.
Yesterday, we visited EPCOT to get a peek of the first new panel. The rest of the panels are being installed this week, so we returned today to check up on the progress.
A few new displays are now up! This panel draws in purples, pinks, and yellows from EPCOT’s new color palette.
If you look at the panels up close, so you can see the thousands of pictures of guests who visited. All of these pictures were taken between 1999 and 2007. It’s like a moment in time has been frozen!
Installation will continue this week, but the already-installed panels are currently open to guests! If you want to try and find your photo, you can scan a QR code to open a tile finder search feature. Or, you can head over to Guest Relations for help.
We’ll keep you updated on Leave a Legacy’s progress as this project finishes up. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
