Want to rock a little Disney style while staying environmentally friendly?
Apparently, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the place to go! While browsing the shops on Discovery Island, we spotted something brand-new. And while we’ve seen plenty of Mickey and Minnie-inspired items, from canteen cups to bags to ear hat bowls, this find is extra special. It’s recyclable!
You may have seen Native Shoes before: they’re lightweight, with a Keds-like style and Crocs-like material. And the pairs we found were popping with bright mouse-inspired patterns!
The first pair of kids’ shoes is white with a Mickey Mouse allover pattern. Parents, these may make a great choice for a long day of little ones walking around Disney! They’re a hand-washable rubber and match pretty much any Disney look.
The second pair of kids’ shoes are Minnie-inspired! They’re red with a white toe, with Minnie Mouse peeping over the top of the shoe. Of course, her bow is front and center!
Like the other Native shoes, these have traction on the bottom to avoid any scary slips. Both pairs of kids’ shoes are $44.99.
And if the adults in the family want to match, there’s some grown-up options, too! There’s a black shoe with Mickey’s face in various expressions…
…and a red pair featuring vintage Minnie Mouse! These adult shoes are the same rubbery material as the kids’ pairs, and each costs $54.99.
If you’re planning long days in the parks and are on the hunt for some practical shoes with a touch of Disney, these may be a great option! A Cast Member at Riverside Depot informed us that new styles are on the way, so we’ll keep an eye out for you. As always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!

Can you only find these native shoes at the parks? Or is there anywhere online to order?
