Guys…we NEED to show you this.
You may remember that Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is no longer serving their super yummy ice cream out of their to go window. That’s all well and good — you can still get your sweet snack inside! But every time we pop back over to this area, we notice the to-go window looks a little…different.
Let’s throw it back. When the to-go window first shuttered, the window itself was just closed. Simple enough, right?
Then, Disney got a little fancy with it. They added plants, people! And threw a trash can in front of there for good measure. But that doesn’t even BEGIN to explain how it looks now.
When we were at Beaches and Cream today, we spotted not one, not two, but SEVEN trees (and a fancy plant on top of the trash can). WHAT is going on here?!
Of course, the trash can is still there providing a fantastic distraction. Seriously, it looks like it belongs there, right? Nothing suspicious going on at all behind that black screen.
The finishing touch is clearly that hand sanitizer dispenser. Obviously if someone goes over there to clean their hands, they’ll be so focused they won’t even bother looking at the rest of the wall. We’re nominating the hand sanitizer as the MVP of this whole disguise scheme.
In all seriousness, though, this display is a HUGE eyesore. And as hard as Disney tries, they’re STILL not hiding the to-go window all that well. We’ll keep checking back to see what new distractions they put out here — and we’ll laugh about them together! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.

They could make a double window pickup like some of our restuarants here do. Safer for employees.
So can you still get ice cream to go from inside or mobile order, or can you only get ice cream from Beaches and Cream if you have a reservation and are seated inside?
Linda, only if you’re seated in the restaurant, no Mobile Order, sadly. You can get a milkshake at Martha’s Vineyard in the afternoons and Mickey Bars in Beach Club Marketplace and the Market at Ale & Compass.
Others have posted about walk up tables available outside?
Gabe, there are some tables for outdoor seating, but they require Advance Dining Reservations.
It seems impossible to get a reservation here. (Looking at late June.) Any tips? Iām literally online at midnight and nothing seems available, period š
