Welcome back to Magic Kingdom!
We checked up on the construction, merchandise, and wait times in Disney World’s flagship park. Let’s see what we found!
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Construction on the Cinderella Castle stage continues. We originally saw some bushes hiding scrim on the railings. Now, the scrim remains, but we’ve also got a new floor covering.
We’re still not sure what the end result of this construction will be.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more!
Take a Closer Look at Scrim On Cinderella Castle Stage!
Right next door, the moat is still being drained. We noticed low water levels a few days ago, and those levels are continuing to drop.
Some birds were having a grand ol’ time in the shallow water!
Again, we’re not completely sure what this construction is, either. But we’ll keep checking up on the progress!
Check Out More Progress on the Moat!
Lastly, the scrim on Peter Pan’s Flight is still up.
The ride remains open, so you can take your regularly scheduled flight to Neverland. But the exterior of the building is undergoing some serious work!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Memento Mori
In Memento Mori, we spotted some new Haunted Mansion merchandise. How frightfully delightful! First is a cardholder. It has the logo for the classic attraction…
…but if you twist it in the light, happy haunts materialize!
The back features bats, hitchhiking ghosts, and tombstones on a ghostly blue background. It’s $20!
We also found a new magnet with Madame Leota. We think she received our sympathetic vibrations, because she’s summoning the spirits!
This magnet is $14.99.
Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.
Over in Tomorrowland Light and Power Co (that’s the Space Mountain gift shop!), we found a new Marvel-themed phone case. It says “I love you 3000” on it!
This case is $29.99.
Box Office Gifts
And in Box Office Gifts, we spotted something totally unexpected: a Splash Mountain pin! If you’re a fan of the briar patch, you may know these have been HARD to come across lately. On this pin, Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear plummet 50 feet!
We’re not sure how long this pin will stick around before it sells out. You may want to hurry if you have your eye on it!
Uptown Jewelers
Lastly, we found some Cinderella Pandora jewelry in Uptown Jewelers. There’s a Pumpkin Carriage Charm for $100…
…a Gus Gus charm for $65…
…a Jaq AND Gus Gus charm (also $65)…
…and some more bright bling! Here we’ve got a Carriage Ring ($65), Carriage Necklace ($125), and Carriage Earrings ($65).
We love how simple and princess-inspired this new jewelry is! We’ll keep an eye out for more jewelry around the parks.

Magic Kingdom Additional Updates
We also took a lap around Magic Kingdom to check out wait times! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was at 55 minutes…
…Splash Mountain was at 40 minutes…
…the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was at 80 minutes…
…and the Mad Tea Party was at 25 minutes!
Keep in mind that the Mad Tea Party is now down for refurbishment, but is expected to reopen on March 5th.
Read More About the Mad Tea Party’s Refurbishment!
And on our way outside of the park, we spotted the Goofy Cavalcade! Clarabelle Cow just HAD to strike a pose for us.
We love running into a cavalcade right as we’re walking down Main Street.

That’s all for our trip to Magic Kingdom! As always, we’ll keep you posted with the latest Disney news and updates. Stay tuned to DFB!
