Today we’re taking a trip to Hollywood Studios! What will we see along the way? Who knows!
Whether we’re shrinking down to the size of a toy, visiting a galaxy far, far away, or traveling back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood, we typically have a wonderful time visiting this park! We strolled around yesterday to check out the crowds, peruse some menus, and see what new things we can find. Want to come along? Let’s go!
Over at BaseLine Tap House, we noticed that the popular Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider had returned to this location! When the restaurant first opened, we reviewed this drink and loved it, so if that seems like something you’d like, make sure to stop by and try it out.
Our reporter did have to wait in line for a bit to pick it up, though. This is a popular place to get a drink, so if you plan on stopping by, know that you’ll probably have to wait for a few minutes.
BaseLine Tap House has a great variety of drinks and one of our favorite charcuterie boards in Disney World, so we’re pretty sure it’s worth the wait!
Toy Story Land Cart
Speaking of drinks, the cocktails cart in Toy Story Land is currently out of margaritas…once again. They came back to the menu the other day, but when we stopped in to check on them this time, they were nowhere to be found!
We’ll make sure to keep an eye on this spot and let you know if they continue to disappear and reappear.
New to the menu over at Joffrey’s is the Game Changer Cold Brew. In this drink, you’ll find cold brew coffee leveled up with a shot of espresso, Irish Cream syrup, and light cream.
The different syrups give this drink a cool, layered effect. We found it to be a very strong coffee flavor, but for more details, make sure to check out our review. It’s a seasonal drink, so it’s only around for a limited time!
Once Upon a Time
If you’re looking for a way to keep cool in the parks while also being sassy and stylish, then this fan may be just the thing for you! It’s Alice in Wonderland-themed and has the phrase “Spill it” on the design.
If you’ve got some “hot goss” to share, then this fan will be the perfect cover for a whispered conversation! 😉
Mickey’s of Hollywood
Over at this store, we spotted the new (and highly anticipated) Muppets nuiMOs! Miss Piggy and Kermit are so stinkin’ cute in mini plush form, and they also came with a line of new outfits.
This outfit even comes with a pair of miniature sunglasses! Tres chic!
You can go ahead and snag the Miss Piggy and Kermit nuiMOs online for $17.99 each. It’s a hefty price to pay for a tiny plush, but we’ll let you be the judge if they’re cute enough to be worth it!
Celebrity 5 & 10
Last but not least, we spotted a new-to-us lollipop design featuring Mickey Mouse and friends! If your kids love these giant (and incredibly sticky!) lollipops, then they may really like this new packaging with some popular characters.
We spotted some new designs a couple months ago, but it seems like this one arrived a little late to the game. It comes in a sour tutti frutti flavor, so keep that in mind when purchasing for the kiddos.
Lollipops aren’t typically our park snack of choice, but sometimes we give in and buy them anyway!
That’s everything new from Hollywood Studios this time, but we’ll be back soon to see if anything changes! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest news from the Disney World parks, as well as the biggest updates on things coming soon.
