We’re checking out all the food, entertainment, and activities at this year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival!
We decided to take a break from all the food and drink tasting to check out a returning activity this year — Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration! Who’s ready for a scavenger hunt?!
Since 2018, we’ve been hunting for our pal Spike the Bee throughout World Showcase and we’re excited to give it a try again this year! He can be pretty good at hiding from us — he is a bee after all!
If you’re looking to join the hunt, you can purchase a map and stickers for $7.99 plus tax. The map is full of different types of plants that Spike is known for hanging out around so you will “bee” busy trying to keep track of him! Each time you successfully find him, you’ll add a sticker to your map and, once you have them all, you can return it to Disney Traders or World Traveler for a special prize!
So, what are you looking for exactly? Well, we’ll show you!
Around the park, hidden amongst the beautiful foliage, you’ll find Spike just hanging out! We won’t tell you where we spotted him…we don’t want to ruin the fun.
Just keep your eyes peeled for our little bee friend as you stroll around, collecting all the delicious eats. Sometimes, he’s a little more challenging to spot!
You didn’t think we’d make you wait to find out what the prize is, did you? For helping find Spike on his pollination journey, you’re rewarded with some decorative plates! You get your choice of four different designs, starting with Orange Bird in a bucket of oranges.
There’s also this precious design of Figment frolicking through EPCOT!
Or, if you’re a fan of the classics, then you can pick up this Minnie Mouse design. (It may just be our favorite with those florals and World Showcase details!)
Last but not least, you can always choose the one to commemorate your scavenger hunt — the matching Spike the Bee reward plate!
You can go on Spike’s scavenger hunt and earn your prize at EPCOT through July 5th. Happy hunting DFB friends!
