Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Humans aren’t the only ones who can celebrate their love for Disney! The Disney Tails collection is perfect for your pups to match with you back home. And at the Emporium, we spotted the brand-new Hydrangea Purple Spirit Jersey — for pets! It costs $36.99.
And we’ve been OBSESSED with the new Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion MagicBand ever since it debuted days ago! The MagicBand is detailed with the same character-filled pattern we saw on the Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke bags last year. But, the limited edition accessory sold out SUPER fast (bummer), before we finally spotted the MagicBand’s return!
Over at the Emporium, we noticed that there were a few of the MagicBands located behind the counter. Guests could ask a Cast Member to see one and make a purchase.
The box has the same pattern as the MagicBand with images like the stretching room portraits, Constance Hatchaway, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, and MORE for $58!
You’ll want to move fast, though! There were only 2,500 made, so they could sell out again soon.
New Spirit Jersey? YES, PLEASE. That same Hydrangea Purple Spirit Jersey for pets comes in a human style, too, and it’s at Star Traders!
It has sparkly detailing on the Walt Disney World logo like many other spirit jerseys.
And if you think this spirit jersey looks SUPER similar to the Lavender Spirit Jersey, here’s a side-by-side comparison! The Hydrangea color is much darker.
This one costs $69.99.
During a hot Florida day, fans can be super helpful when you just need a bit of extra air to cool down. And Bwana Bob’s is showing off a brand-new Alice in Wonderland fan that you can use as you walk around the park!
We’re loving the design — it’s giving us our Mad Tea Party fix while we wait for the ride to reopen!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Peter Pan’s Flight
Peter Pan’s Flight has been undergoing maintenance and refurbishment since the beginning of February in Fantasyland. At first only a bit of scrim surrounding the outside of the attraction, but then more was added to cover the entire entryway. Now, though, that scrim’s getting a makeover!
It’s designed to match the rest of the Fantasyland theming, so the construction blends in a little bit better.
This new look is definitely an improvement! We’ll keep you posted as work in the area continues.
Magic Kingdom Additional Updates
Disney surprised us with an announcement that there would be a brand-new Orange Bird mural, but we didn’t expect it to be as ADORABLE as it was! The new mural was designed by Senior Concept Designer Chris Gardner before being painted by artist Abdul Delgado on the side of the Sunshine Tree Terrace building.
On the way to Adventureland, you can pose with your Citrus Swirl in front of the mural that features white flowers, a smiling sun, and the Orange Bird showing off his love for the Citrus Swirl! (Same, friend. Same.).
You can expect us to have PLENTY of photos of our soft serve ice cream and floats in front of this mural from now on! 😉
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Magic Kingdom! We’ll catch you next time for more updates. And, if you have any questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers!
