runDisney’s Star Wars Rival Run Weekend Begins NOW!

The global health crisis has provided a challenge for runDisney events.

In 2020, Disney canceled the 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend set for March of that year. Other events were canceled or were turned into virtual events. This included the 2021 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend.

That event officially starts TODAY and runs through April 18th. So runners, choose a side. Are you Light Side or Dark Side?! And get to running!

Runners can grab tools from Disney to add that galactic touch to their miles by downloading the virtual race kit, which features mile markers, as well as the “start” and “finish” lines. To do this, go to the runDisney website and click on “Manage Account.” From the dashboard, click on “Your Registrations” and select the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend.

Runners who complete their run can also download special graphics designed for each race event to share on social media. Runners can also give themselves a little more motivation by making quick DIY cheer cards! For all of those participating in the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend, May the Force Be With You.
