We’ve seen a LOT of new things coming to Orlando recently, specifically in the realm of food.
We’re gearing up for the opening of the world’s largest White Castle, along with the appearance of Portillo’s near the parks. On top of that, Gordon Ramsey announced that he will soon be opening a restaurant in Icon Park. Then today, we learned that a new bowling and restaurant chain is coming to the area, all the way from Chicago!
Pinstripes, an upscale restaurant chain from Chicago with bocce, bowling, and beer, just signed a lease to open its first Orlando location, according to the Orlando Business Journal. The lease was signed for a 28,000 square foot location in Vineland Pointe near International Drive and Walt Disney World.
Pinstripes locations are designed to be more than just bowling and bocce, with the restaurant menu filled with items like calamari, sliders, wings, flatbreads, salads, various pastas, and salmon, not to mention desserts. They also typically offer private event space and catering. The founder of pinstripes, CEO Dale Schwartz, describes them as “kind of Napa Valley-meets-Tuscany. It’s quality, rustic, but quite the antithesis of a stereotypical bowling alley.”
We look forward to receiving more information on this new location coming to Orlando. At this time, the company hasn’t made any comments on the lease, but we’ll be looking out for more news!
