There’s so much to keep track of when you’re planning a Disney World trip!
We want to help you have the most successful trip possible, so this is an important reminder to put down August 2nd as a very important date in your calendar if you’re visiting Disney World for the 50th anniversary!
So what exactly is happening on August 2nd? If you’re one of the many people planning to be in Disney World on October 1st for the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, August 2nd is when you can start making your dining reservations for your trip! And you’ll want to make those reservations fast because this is a super popular time to be in the parks, so dining space will go quickly!
According to Disney, “Reservation availability for select Walt Disney World restaurants typically begins each day at approximately 5:45AM ET.” So you’ll want to be up bright and early on August 2nd to get those reservations. We’re sitting with our My Disney Experience apps and computers at the ready when the clock hits that time! Phone lines usuallly open at 7AM for reservations.
To book your reservations, you’ll go online or on the My Disney Experience app. There, you can select the restaurant, how many people will be on your reservation, the time of your reservation, and then make it official! You can also call to make the reservations, but remember that you’ll have to wait an extra hour! Good luck to everyone — we hope you get the reservations you want!!
