Although The Jungle Cruise at Disneyland has mostly completed its transformation (the ride was closed until the refurbishment was complete), the update to the ride at Disney World has been happening in front of our very eyes.

Jungle Cruise
And it’s been changing a little bit at a time, each time we ride it — revealing a bit more of its new characters and new story. And we’ve been fascinated! And today, we noticed ANOTHER new update!
Today’s update, though, isn’t with the ride itself, but with the sign above the ride’s queue area. Here’s what it previously looked like. It was a washed-out wooden sign with the Jungle Cruise logo on it.

Old sign
But today, there’s a brand new sign above the queue area! And this one is a lot more colorful!

What do you think?
The new sign no longer has the mask and spears at the top, and instead, now has a ship’s steering wheel there. Inside the wheel, you will find the Jungle Cruise Navigation Co. logo. It also now sports a bright green background. It certainly seems to stand out a bit more.

A bit different, no?
So that’s yet ANOTHER new change we’re seeing on the Jungle Cruise, and as the Disney World ride continues to get updated, we’ll keep YOU updated.

The new sign looks too much like Christmas. Change the “u” to an “i” and we now have The Jingle Cruise! Easy to reimagine for the holiday season! Forget that! The old sign fit in with the surroundings. I found out from watching “Behind The Attractions” on Disney+ that Jungle Cruise was modeled after “The African Queen” movie made in 1951 and that was the intent for the attraction. Sad that everything has to be reimagined.
I liked the old sign better.
