There are all kinds of incredible details hidden throughout Disney World.
Truly, a trip to Disney World can become the ULTIMATE scavenger hunt for references to rides that have long since been gone, secrets you never realized were hiding right in front of you, and incredible details you may have not noticed before (even if you consider yourself to be a Disney expert). One of the BEST things to spot throughout Disney World are hidden Mickeys, and today we’re sharing a peek at one specific hidden Mickey you’ve probably NEVER seen!
In case you aren’t already aware, hidden Mickeys are EVERYWHERE in Disney World! What is a hidden Mickey you ask? Well, it’s typically a classic Mickey design (one large circle for the head, 2 smaller circles for the ears) that is hidden in an attraction, store, restaurant, etc. Sometimes you’ll see other versions of Mickey hidden in Disney World (like a side profile view) or even other characters altogether that have made their way into a secret spot.
Some hidden Mickeys are easy to spot, while others may be incredibly difficult or only pop up once a year! They are built into so many places around Disney, and you seriously might not even notice them!
But, there’s one particular hidden detail one our readers spotted that we think is especially unique and a super difficult find!
One of our fantastic DFB readers happened to get stuck on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios when the emergency lights came on. This allowed them to get a good look at the “welcome back” room at the end of the ride.
Amongst the props and references was a strange picture of an individual. If you look closely, it seems like there are some Mickey ears very faintly placed there. It’s a little eerie, but it looks like they might be there!
This detail would be very hard to catch without being stopped on the ride with extra lights turned on, so our reader was really lucky (and has an amazing eye) to have noticed this and snapped a picture!
We’ll have to see if our eyes are good enough to spot this next time we’re on Tower of Terror!
