Is there anything better than seeing THIS FELLA?
Honestly? Nope. But there’s a CLOSE second, and that’s spotting a HIDDEN Mickey! Disney fans love spotting these subtle tributes to Mickey Mouse tucked into everything from park attractions to Character Cavalcade vehicles and more…. like food, for instance. (You can bet we’ve found some not-so-subtle ones, too.) We hope you’ll join us on another hunt for Hidden Mickeys today!
We’re stopping by TWO spots in two completely different locations in Disney World.
Location: Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Our first stop? It’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Now, take a close look at this rendering of the Derby’s famous Grapefruit Cake by Alex Guarnaschelli. A very, VERY close look.
Can you spot Mickey? If your answer is “No,” you’re in good company. Only 38% of our DFB Instagram followers found him! Here’s a little (ok, a LOT) of help…
TA-DA!!! It’s MICKEY! (And possibly one of the smallest Hidden Mickeys in Disney World, at that!)
You know what? These are too fun to stop at just one…
Location: It’s a Mickey Mystery
This time, we’re going to START with showing you Mickey in this bit of artwork, and see if YOU can guess the LOCATION.
Can you see Mickey? Good.
Okay, let’s back it up…
Do you know where we are? Or, rather, do you know where MICKEY is? He’s found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, on the stairwell leading to the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House which is home to spots like ‘Ohana and Tambu Lounge!
Seriously, once you spot one of these, you NEVER stop seeing them. And if you’re TOTALLY HOOKED like we are, check out our DFB YouTube Video for even MORE Hidden Gems around Disney World!
