We’ve had quite a bit of Disney Cruise Line news recently!
The Disney Dream returned to sailing recently, along with some new health and safety measures. And now, Disney cruising is coming back to the West Coast as well, because the Disney Wonder is returning soon!
The Disney Wonder will resume sailing on October 1st, 2021. Voyages available will include California sailings, as well as the Panama Canal Sailing on Nov. 5, 2021. Galveston, Texas sailings will return at some point in the future.
It’s important to note that for California sailings, all guests ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated, and for Panama sailings, all guests (regardless of age) must be fully vaccinated. For the California sailings, guests 11 and younger must give proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken between 3 days and 24 hours before traveling. Also, ALL Guests (regardless of age and vaccination status) will be required to take a Disney Cruise Line-paid PCR COVID-19 test administered by Inspire Diagnostics before boarding, which will be administered at the terminal. This requirement is for both the California and Panama sailings.
If you’re planning a back-to-back sailing, you must debark from the ship, take your test again, and then reboard the ship for your second sailing. On the California sailings, those traveling with unvaccinated children must purchase a Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure to disembark at a port of call.
With the relaunch of the Disney Wonder, two California sailings are being canceled — the 2-night sailing on September 24th and the 5-night sailing on September 26th. Other sailings may be modified, so watch your email for updates if you currently have a cruise booked.
