It’s official, we’ve made it to June! We’re getting into the hottest part of the year and we’re about to start seeing summertime crowds at Disney World.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Disney World update its health and safety policies several times.
Temperature checks were phased out, mask requirements have been relaxed, and physical distancing is being reduced all around the parks and resorts. Today, we noticed another update to the physical distancing requirements on Disney’s website!

So…Disney’s mask rules have undergone a BIG change recently.
A few days ago, Disney relaxed their mask policy, only requiring them while indoors or while on rides/in ride queues. Previously, they were necessary anywhere on property — both indoors and outdoors — unless eating or drinking while stationary or taking a socially distanced outdoor photo. Obviously, this huge change is going to affect how you wear your mask during your vacation! And we’re got some tips for ya right here.

We’ve seen plexiglass start to disappear on certain attractions, and some shows have reduced physical distancing, but now one of the most popular rides in all of Disney World is seeing some changes!

In addition, we spotted little changes, like the fact that self-serve drink stations were being manned by Cast Members. But now, one of those things may be going back to normal!
