Royal Caribbean just announced a brand new cruise ship!
The cruise line has had numerous expansions lately, with the new third Icon Class ship, Legend of the Seas, debuting this year. Plus, an unnamed fourth ship set for 2027 was just revealed!
Royal Caribbean confirmed it will build a new class of ships! The cruise line announced on January 29th that it had reached a series of agreements with Chantier de l’Atlantique (CdA) shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, to build its highly anticipated Discovery Class ships.
Royal Caribbean stated that its Discovery Class ships will “redefine how Royal’s guests experience the world.” The agreement is for two firm ship orders, with the option for up to four additional ships. The first ship is expected to debut in 2029, with the second scheduled for delivery in 2032.

The Disney Destiny is HERE, and the new Disney Cruise Line ship comes with some incredible details, theming, and storytelling.
One of the standout offerings onboard a Disney Destiny sailing is the entertainment, namely the new Broadway-style show, Hercules. This incredible production features live singers and dancers, as well as some larger-than-life effects. And during our media sailing on board the ship, we got to go behind the scenes of the show.
The Disney Cruise Line is in the process of expanding the entire fleet, and it’s left many Disney fans wondering… why? While we love the cruise line, we didn’t see a ton of demand online for more ships! That being said, Disney is moving forward with the new additions.

If you’re heading on a cruise this year, you might want to take some extra caution when it comes to your health and safety.
This year, there have been multiple sickness outbreaks on cruises, and now, another is being added to the list. In the latest news, more than 90 passengers and crew members on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship have fallen ill with norovirus.
If you’ve ever wanted to take a cruise but don’t want to deal with the THOUSANDS of other people on board, going on a smaller cruise ship is likely the best option for you.
That means you’re going to have to look beyond Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and other popular cruise ships, which often have hundreds or even thousands of staterooms on board. However, we’ve got a suggestion for you, and that’s to take a voyage on the National Geographic Orion ship! This ship only has 53 staterooms and allows guests to explore little-known waters and isles in the Pacific Islands, Antarctica, and the Mediterranean to experience each location’s natural and cultural wonders up close. But how do these staterooms compare to others we’ve seen on other ships? Come along for a full tour!
Disney Cruise Line continues to grow as its fleet gets bigger and bigger. That means you have even more choices if you’ve ever been interested in taking a Disney Cruise. Options! We love options! Especially when they’re all unique Disney themes.
The next ship to set sail for the first time is the Disney Destiny, which will embark on its maiden voyage on November 20th (yes, that’s soon). Ahead of its maiden voyage, though, the ship needs to be put through the paces, a.k.a. sea trials. Well, the Disney Destiny is now out there on the ocean, getting ready to do just that, according to The Orlando Sentinel. Aww…it’s like baby’s first steps! We’re feeling like proud parents over here.
Disney Cruise Line is notifying customers that the launch of a new cruise ship — the Disney Adventure — will be several months behind schedule.
The maiden voyage of Disney’s latest ship — originally scheduled for December 15th, 2025 — has been rescheduled for March 10th, 2026.
