We’re definitely those people, and whether we’re getting ready to set sail on a Disney Cruise or a different one, there’s one thing we never forget to pack. You just never know when you might need it, and ours has saved us on more than one occasion. If you’re going on an upcoming cruise, make sure you pack one of these!
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Royal Caribbean has A LOT planned for its future! Royal Caribbean has planned new ships and destination openings as far out as 2028, and they recently shared some of their plans during a media sailing on the Star of the Seas.

Star of the Seas is the newest ship in Royal Caribbean’s Icon class (Icon of the Seas was the first ship in this class). Legend of the Seas will be joining the lineup in 2026, which was previously announced by Royal Caribbean. But Royal Caribbean talked a lot about its future plans on this media sailing, and we have all the details for you!
The Bahamas are a very popular spot for cruise lines to travel to.

The crystal clear oceans and white sand beaches are an easy allure for many travelers, especially those who live in colder states or don’t have any beaches nearby to visit in/around their hometown. Disney Cruise Line has many stops there (including their own private resort), and other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines, among others, do the same. However, at Carnival’s newly opened Celebration Key Resort, two different travelers have drowned in one day.

Since then, they’ve acquired a second ship, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, but they’re not stopping there. They’ve just announced the purchase of their third ship, right on the third anniversary of the company’s inception!
We love going on cruises and obsessing over every little detail of the trip. From what food we’re going to eat, which excursions we’re going to try, and which activities we’re going to enjoy, there’s a lot to think about.
