Royal Caribbean just announced a brand new cruise ship!
The cruise line has had numerous expansions lately, with the new third Icon Class ship, Legend of the Seas, debuting this year. Plus, an unnamed fourth ship set for 2027 was just revealed!
We need to talk about one of the internet’s favorite hobbies: seeing a theme park rumor, slapping Mickey ears on it, and sending it galloping across social media like it just stole a churro.
Because yes, something big is happening in Frisco, Texas. No, that does not mean Disney is suddenly packing up a castle, tossing Cinderella into a moving van, and heading for the Lone Star State. At least not based on anything Disney has officially announced.
Right now, Disney’s confirmed future resort development is pointed elsewhere, including its newly announced theme park resort in Abu Dhabi, which Disney has described as its seventh theme park destination. So if you’ve seen whispers that “Disney is coming to Texas,” that rumor is wearing somebody else’s nametag.
Which popular brand made the announcement? Let’s take a closer look!
2025 has seen a double-digit number of norovirus outbreaks on cruise ships, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
Norovirus is a very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea, thanks to acute gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the stomach or intestines.
Okay, we cover Disney Cruise Line a lot…because, well, we love Disney and Disney cruises.
But other cruise lines are doing some pretty amazing things, too. According to The Orlando Sentinel, luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises is getting ready to launch its largest cruise ship yet, Seven Seas Prestige, and it includes the kind of suite that we can only dream about. So what’s this gorgeous ultra luxury suite cost? Just a mere $25,000 a night (yeah, we’ll be right back when we win the lottery).
If you’re going on a cruise soon, you might want to pay attention and take some extra health precautions.
If you’ve been following the news, you may be aware that several cruise ships have recently been struck by viral outbreaks, most notably norovirus. Many cruise lines have been affected by outbreaks, including Cunard and Holland America. Well, in the last week alone, three more cruise ships had gastrointestinal outbreaks as reported by the CDC.
You might want to rethink that cruise — yet another norovirus outbreak has hit a cruise ship.
More than 240 people on board the luxury Cunard Queen Mary 2 have fallen ill with the highly contagious stomach bug, CNN has reported.
Another norovirus outbreak has hit Holland America Line for the third time this year.
According to USA Today, it was reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that nearly 90 people got sick, including 79 passengers and nine crew members.
The Disney Cruise Line is growing!
In August, Disney announced that MORE ships are coming to the Disney Cruise Line. The cruise line, which is relatively small compared to other cruise lines, currently has five ships in operation, with one more coming this winter and, two more coming in 2025, and four more in addition to that are on the way. Not all of the cruise ships are the same, but you’re bound to get amazing adventure on any of them. Disney breaks its ships down into classes with different offerings on each of them, so let’s take a look at each class to make your decision easier!
Cruises are the ultimate vacation getaways.

Symphony of the Seas
It’s a floating resort on the sea equipped with everything you need for a perfect trip away from reality (plus, cruise food is DELICIOUS!). The excitement you feel getting ready to board a ship is like no other, but there is one thing that can instantly deflate it: having to toss out an item from your luggage. Well, if you’re headed on board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, this may end up happening to you.
Who wouldn’t want a free cruise?
Well, as it turns out, a lot of people. If you’ve only cruised with a company like Disney Cruise Line, you may be accustomed to the cruise line taking fantastic care of guests, keeping the ship clean, and everything in between, but not all cruise lines are built the same. In fact, one cruise line is offering FREE cruises to certain people, and many are reluctant to take it.
