When it comes to cruise vacations, few perks are more exciting than a stop at a private island. But not all private islands are created equal. Some are packed with water slides and adrenaline-pumping attractions, while others focus on soft sand, calm waters, and zero stress. So which cruise line’s private island is the BEST? Let’s break it down.
Okay, we cover Disney Cruise Line a lot…because, well, we love Disney and Disney cruises.
But other cruise lines are doing some pretty amazing things, too. According to The Orlando Sentinel, luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises is getting ready to launch its largest cruise ship yet, Seven Seas Prestige, and it includes the kind of suite that we can only dream about. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has also shared its next phase of requirements for cruise lines. But, there are still many questions surrounding WHEN cruises will be able to depart from the U.S. again, and recently the CDC gave an update on just that.
Although the current global health crisis has affected the travel industry as a whole, the cruise industry has even been more impacted than most.

Yesterday, the Re-Open Florida Task Force, met to discuss some of the concerns and potential solutions for moving the state out of shutdown.
Another meeting occurred today to discuss more specific sectors. With real estate, construction, cruise lines, and airports on the list of items, the team worked to envision what reopening may look like for these industries. Cruises are a notably at-risk model during the global health crisis, so members of the task force stepped forward to expand on their priorities for cruise lines.
