There’s nothing worse than getting stuck with a seat by the bathroom or missing out on a prime view of Cinderella Castle just because you didn’t know a few simple tricks. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to level up your dining experience, these tips can make all the difference.
If you’re going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon, you need to start planning what you want to EAT while you’re there! There are lots of great fast food-style restaurants in this park, but right now we’re talking about those table service restaurants (so make sure you make reservations for these spots 60 days in advance!).
Hollywood Studios
We’ve gone through the menus at every one of the table service restaurants in this park and picked out our team’s FAVORITE meal at each spot. These are the DON’T MISS eats at all six sit-down restaurants in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ve all been there — we’re up at 5:30AM, 60 days before our Disney World trip, waiting for 6AM to hit so that we can book those coveted dining reservations at all of our favorite Disney restaurants. One of the most important parts of your Disney World vacation (in our opinion, at least) is what you’ll EAT while you’re there! You can find some fantastic food at restaurants around the parks and hotels, at quick service and table service spots alike.
‘Ohana
At all table service restaurants, it’s recommended that you make advance dining reservations in order to secure your spot. Although some restaurants have walk-up waitlists, a table is not guaranteed with that option. The best way to make sure you get to dine where you want is to make those reservations ASAP! But one of our favorite places to grab a bite is actually Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! We highly recommend visiting some of the restaurants at this hotel, even if you’re not staying here. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is best known for exciting roller coasters and immersive, themed lands. But that doesn’t mean you should sleep on the EATS in this park! At the very least, you’ll need the fuel to get you from Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to Rise of the Resistance to Tower of Terror to Slinky Dog Dash…you get the picture. 😉

If you’ve been to Disney’s BoardWalk recently, you may have noticed some demolition going on over there. The ESPN Club has closed, and Disney has been taking down the signs and previous decorations in that area. So what’s going to fill that space now? Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long for the answer!

The Cake Bake Shop, owned by Gwendolyn Rogers, is going to fill at least part of the space where the ESPN club used to be!
