We’ve seen a TON of things return to Disney World over the past several months.
Traditional character meet-and-greets and traditional character dining has returned to many spots, and a lot of restaurants have reopened (with even more on the way!). One restaurant that returned in 2021 was Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. But it came back as a family-style meal, instead of its traditional buffet. And that’s how things stayed…until now!
Can you believe it’s NOVEMBER?! Where has the year gone?! It feels like we were just gearing up for summer, but now, holiday decorations are lining the streets of Disney World.
That’s right, as soon as that clock strikes Midnight on Halloween, it’s down with the pumpkins and up with the holiday wreaths (well, we actually saw holiday decor go up BEFORE Halloween in some spots!). There is SO much going on at Disney World during this time of the year, and we’re here to help you keep it all organized. So, let’s break down the BEST things to do in Disney World in November for those of you that have a trip coming up soon!

One Magic Kingdom restaurant just got BETTER.
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom reopened in 2020 as a family-style meal, and the buffet returned in late 2021. Winnie the Pooh and his friends used to be a staple at the Palace, but they’ve been MIA for the past couple of years. Now we’re happy to say that they’re BACK. However, with the return of the characters came a major price INCREASE. Is this meal worth the hefty cost? Let’s find out. [Read more…]
It’s back — it’s really back!
We’ve had a lot to celebrate recently, thanks to the return of traditional character meet-and-greets, character dining, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and more. And now, over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’re celebrating the return of buffets at Hollywood & Vine!
Dining at Disney World is DIFFERENT these days.
Some restaurants are still closed, some restaurants have seen BIG menu overhauls, and some restaurants are reopening, but with some significant price increases. Even at the restaurants that are open, there have been some changes. Some former character dining spots aren’t featuring characters right now, and some former buffet locations are serving family-style or prix fixe meals. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, one restaurant that has been a little bit different lately will be seeing a BIG change soon!
Sure it might seem easy — grab a plate, go get food, rinse, and repeat, but we’ve got some tips that could help you optimize your buffet time and guarantee that you have the best dining experience you can!
In case you haven’t heard already, Cape May Café is a hot topic in Disney World right now.
This restaurant is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and it very recently brought back buffets for both breakfast and dinner! We’ve already brought you a full review for the returning breakfast buffet, so now we’re heading back to this spot for dinner. It’s got all kinds of options for seafood lovers and landlubbers alike, but there’s one very important item that’s MISSING from that buffet line. [Read more…]
