Disney Figured Out My Secret Fireworks Viewing Spot, and Now They’re Selling Dining Packages There, Too

Okay, so the last time I was in Disneyland, as a Star Wars nerd, I ended up spending a LOT of time in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

So while my friends rode Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run (and sorta got stuck on it), I was enjoying a Cold Brew Black Caf and sitting UNDER the Falcon, just enjoying a quiet evening in Batuu. Then, a Cast Member came up and told me I had to move because the fireworks were starting soon. Okay, so I was confused. But wait…then Cast Members came out and blocked out an area near the Falcon for fireworks viewing. Yes, you could see the Disneyland fireworks from there (but without the music) — and not a lot of people even knew about it. It was AWESOME…but now things have changed.

In fact, some people would say it has the worst food out of all the Disney World parks, and we see why! It doesn’t have a lot of options that really blow you away, and some of the quick service options have a bit of a reputation of being unreliable. However, there ARE hidden gems in this park, and one of them is located right in Galaxy’s Edge, but we bet a lot of you walk right by it!

Docking Bay 7 is the main quick service location in Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it has a lot of interesting, unique eats for guests to enjoy. While that means it’s often not the greatest choice for picky eaters, adventurous eaters have a field day here! The menu is about to change, though as two new offerings are being added soon!

That’s because the Season of the Force is still going strong in Disneyland (it lasts through June 2nd), which means we’ll be celebrating everything from a galaxy far, far away for a little longer. Now, that event brings special snacks to the parks, but May the 4th brings more special snacks (some you can only find for ONE DAY) to both Disney World and Disneyland. Yes, we were on BOTH coasts to try out a BUNCH of May the 4th treats, and we’ve got reviews for all of them!

When you think about great food in Disney World, Hollywood Studios is rarely the park that comes to mind. Sorry, but it’s the truth. Sure, there are some iconic classics like the famous Cobb Salad at the Hollywood Brown Derby, and the comfort food at 50s Prime Time Café is certainly nothing to scoff at.
