There have been a lot of changes to Disney World’s health and safety policy since the start of the pandemic. We’ve seen the rules fluctuate over time, and Disney has been careful to monitor the situation to adapt when necessary.
Recently, Disney relaxed its face mask policy for Disney World guests, though face masks were still required on all enclosed transportation. Now, there’s been another change to the COVID-19 policy.

Changes can happen virtually overnight in Disney World; guidelines, attractions, and even decorations can change in the blink of an eye! Sometimes, a MAJOR change can take months to work out, but in many cases, guests are expected to adapt immediately. It can be tricky to keep up!
Speaking of changes, Disney recently updated its health and safety guidelines (again), making face masks optional both indoors and outdoors for vaccinated guests. There is still one instance where face masks are required, but Disney’s got you covered (literally) if you forget!

Even Disney World has a health and safety policy that requires guests to wear a mask at all indoor locations. Disney typically enforces the rules in a way that is fun and friendly — you might even see a Disney friend or two donning a mask in solidarity!

Plexiglass has been added to an increasing number of attractions both in the lines and on the rides. And, as plexiglass is added,  wait times tend to decrease! Well, as we escaped to one of our secret less-crowded places at Disney World, we noticed that the ride to get there had a plexiglass makeover.
