To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
Things have been constantly changing in the world of international travel.
Over the past two years or so, we’ve seen travel bans, new airline rules, destination closures, and much more. Many Americans look to the CDC for advice and best travel practices during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now, the CDC has added two more destinations to the “high risk” travel category.
According to CNN Travel, the CDC has now added Jordan and Sint Eustatius to the Level 3 “high” risk category. Jordan is a popular destination in the Middle East and Sint Eustatius is a small Dutch Caribbean island.
The CDC monitors roughly 235 locations, and currently, more than half of those places are categorized as Level 3. The classification applies to “places that have had more than 100 cases per 100,000 residents in the past 28 days. Level 2 and Level 1 are considered “moderate” and “low” risk, respectively.” Currently, many top travel locations are in this category, including spots like France, Germany, Greece, Spain, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and more.
This list has been updated multiple times in the past few weeks, with new locations getting added as COVID-19 case numbers change around the world. We’ll continue to keep you updated as the CDC changes its recommendations.
