The week of September 19th is the final full week before we head into the 50th Anniversary Celebration, which kicks off on Friday, October 1st!
Who else is excited for the 50th Anniversary?
Before we get to October 1st, however, we have to push through the rest of September, which for some of you reading this means your Disney World vacation is right around the corner! If you’re visiting the parks during the week of September 19th, you’ll want to double-check those park hours and Park Pass Reservations before you head out the door and drive to the airport!
Disney World Park Hours the Week of September 19th
Magic Kingdom will be open next week from 9AM-8:30PM on the days that it’s hosting Disney After Hours Boo Bash, which are Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, the park will be open from 9AM-9PM.

EPCOT will be open from 11AM-9PM Monday through Thursday, and it will be open from 11AM-10PM on Sunday, Friday, and Saturday as we’ve seen in weeks past. The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is continuing next week daily.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily next week from 9AM-9PM.

As always, Park Hopping is available after 2PM each day for those with the Park Hopper option added to their tickets, provided that you have already scanned into the first park for which you have a confirmed Park Pass Reservation. Select Resort Hotels
Let’s take a look at the current Park Pass Reservation availability calendar for next week. For guests staying at Select Resort Hotels, all four parks are currently wide open every day the week of September 19th.

Theme Park Tickets
The same goes for guests with Theme Park Tickets; all four theme parks are currently wide open with Park Pass Reservations available every day next week.

Annual Passholders
For Annual Passholders, all four theme parks currently have wide-open Park Pass Reservation availability for dates which they are not blocked out from Sunday, September 19th through Saturday, September 25th.

Just got back on Saturday, crowds are back and it’s two weeks from the 50th!
Just finished up 6 days at WDW (9/13 to 9/19). Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios were very busy! I did not visit Animal Kingdom. Friday was a Boo Bash day and Magic Kingdom was shoulder-to-shoulder busy. If those crowds were not considered “crowded”, I would not want to see what is considered crowded.
