The Monte Cristo Sandwich is something of a nod to Disneyland, where it’s a fan favorite. The Plaza’s take is made with Deep-fried Funnel Cake Batter, Bacon, Roasted Turkey, and Provolone sprinkled with EARidescent and Powdered Sugar and served with a side of Strawberry Jam.

The Toad Burger — The Friar’s Nook

Well, well, well… look at what the Friar is serving: it’s The Toad Burger! (Wait… maybe it’s The Toad Burger that’s looking at YOU…) This is a brat burger served on a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and American cheese, served with a side of tater tots.

This tribute to Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is $13.49 at The Friar’s Nook.

Devil’s Chocolate Mousse Cake — The Friar’s Nook

But wait, Mr. Toad fans… there’s MORE! The Wild Ride is a frozen sour apple, blue raspberry, and apple slushy topped with a black licorice wheel (to look like the wheels that were on the classic attraction, which you can still ride in Disneyland… but alas, this is as close as we’ll get these days in Walt Disney World).

When Will My Life Begin Chicken and Pasta — Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table serves a prix-fixe meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So while you won’t be able to order the signature restaurant’s 50th Anniversary dish a la carte, you can enjoy it as part of lunch or dinner: it’s the When Will My Life Begin Chicken and Pasta… and can you guess which Disney Princess inspired this entree?

That’s right! Rapunzel is the inspiration for this dish of made with Tangled Pasta, Braised Chicken, Forest and Moss Flowers, and Pine Nut Pesto served in a Frying Pan. The prix fixe lunch and dinner meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table is $62.00 per adult, and $37.00 per child (ages 3 to 9). Remember, Cinderella’s Royal Table is not offering the full character dining experience at this time, and you can read all about the current dining experience HERE.

Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae — Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies

The Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae is chocolate and vanilla soft-serve, brownie pieces, hot fudge, and whipped cream topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles served in a bathtub bowl! Uncle Orville is, of course, a character from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. (You’ll see him soaking in a bathtub during Act 2 of the attraction, which is set in the 1920s.)

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room has inspired the Tropical Serenade, which is made of the famous POG juice (passion fruit, orange, and guava juice) with coconut soft serve, topped with a pineapple upside-down cake pop.

Squid’s Revenge Drink — Be Our Guest Restaurant

Are you ready for the SQUID’S REVENGE? Frankly, we weren’t.  This alcoholic beverage is a Michelada with a Salted Rim, garnished with Charred Octopus and Cucumber. (Longtime Disney fans will likely recognize that this beverage is inspired by the Giant Squid from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.) And, welp… here it is:

If’ you’ve ever dreamed of holding the KEY to Magic Kingdom, pick up the Magic Kingdom Club Éclair! This photogenic pastry is made with Strawberry Curd Filling and Whipped Key Lime Panna Cotta topped with a Chocolate Magic Kingdom Club Key.

A nod to a bygone Tomorrowland attraction, the “If You Had Wings” Chicken Strips are Caribbean jerk chicken strips served with a side of Lays potato chips or a Cuties mandarin orange.

50th Celebration Spring Rolls — Spring Roll Cart

One of our favorite savory snacks spots in Magic Kingdom is serving up 50th Celebration Springs Rolls! They are filled with Pastrami and Pepper Jack Cheese and served with a Mustard Dipping Sauce.

You’ll find them at the Spring Roll Cart just before the entrance to Adventureland, and it’s $9.50 for two Rolls (which you can also mix and match with the other featured Spring Roll flavor, if you wish).

Snow White Cone — Storybook Treats

The colors of the Snow White Cone are a tribute to Walt Disney’s original Princess! A blue cone is filled with DOLE Whip lemon and topped with a chocolate bird and sugar bow.

If you’re feeling Grumpy, we may have found just the thing to cheer you up: the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cone features cranberry-vanilla soft-serve ice cream in a cone decorated with a chocolate belt buckle and a chocolate Grumpy!

Grumpy, in fact, is joined by all SIX other Dwarfs!

Well, here’s the thing about the EARidescent Nugget Churro dish… These are basically the same mini churros Pecos Bill typically serves, so there’s nothing especially unique about them — even the “EARidescent” sugar looks like… well, SUGAR.

Berbere Chickpea Flatbread — Pinocchio Village Haus

While Pinocchio is always serving the expected Pepperoni, Cheese, and Margherita Flatbreads, the unexpected Berbere Chickpea Flatbread is a unique offering for the Anniversary. (We’ve found that the Village Haus is serving up limited time Flatbreads on a rotating basis throughout the Celebration, which has included the previously available Croque Monsieur Flatbread.) This flatbread is topped with Spiced Hummus, Tomato, and Red Onion drizzled with Coriander-Chutney Dressing. WHAAAT?

Malasadas — Pinocchio Village Haus

Malasadas are a Portuguese fried donut made with flat rounds of yeasty dough. Pinocchio’s version features the flavors of Hawaii and is served with a mango-coconut sauce and is charmingly themed to “it’s a small world” with its “Aloha” coin.

Gaston proudly presents the 50th Anniversary Minnie Mouse Dome Cake (and we’re sure he’ll tell you it’s great!) 😉 ! This celebratory treat is a vanilla citrus mousse with a strawberry glaze on top of pistachio cake, and dark chocolate ear coins.

Doom Berry — Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

The 999 Happy Haunts from the Haunted Mansion want to celebrate the Anniversary, too… hence, the Doom Berry! A nod to the Mansion’s Doom Buggies, this non-alcoholic drink is made of Blackberry Ginger Beer with EARidescence Sugar and is meant to be served with a Haunted Mansion paper straw (which you can see with the treat below).

Chilling Chamber Push Pop — Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

The iconic portraits from the Haunted Mansion’s Stretching Room have mysteriously appeared on top of… cake push pops! The Chilling Chamber Push Pop is layers of cake (we received vanilla, though the menu stated chocolate) with chocolate crumbs, cherry buttercream, and dark chocolate pearls.

Happy Haunts Milkshake —  Columbia Harbour House 

The new Happy Haunts Milkshake is a blackberry milkshake topped with a purple chocolate-glazed doughnut covered in black sprinkles. It comes complete with that cool Haunted Mansion paper straw that was missing with the Doom Berry from Sleepy Hollow that we mentioned above.

The Mission to Mars burger is a tribute to the Mission to Mars attraction that was once in Tomorrowland. It’s a Burger topped with Bacon and Macaroni & Cheese (!!!) served on a bun dusted with Crushed Cheese-flavored Puffs and served with French Fries!

The Burger to the Moon is a plant-based option featuring an Impossible Burger with Guacamole, Tomato and Cabbage Slaw, and served with French Fries. It’s also topped with an itty bitty American flag as a moon landing tribute!

Celebrate a little American history while you’re celebrating Disney history with the I Cannot Tell a Lie milkshake, which is a Vanilla and Cherry Shake garnished with a Brown Sugar-Graham Cracker Rim. You can also raise a glass of Tavern Punch (Frozen Dole Whip Lemon with Sprite).

The Pennsylvania Pot Roast comes as part of the all-you-care-to-enjoy Patriot’s Platter and features a Pot Roast with Mushrooms, Pearl Onions, and Carrot in a rich Gravy.

Again, it’s included in the price of the Patriot’s Platter at Liberty Tree Tavern, which is $39.00 per adult and $21.00 per child.

Wendell’s Bear Claw is a traditional Bear Claw pastry (as you can see by the fun shape) dipped in AND filled with chocolate and sprinkled with Hazelnuts. It’s wrapped in festive 50th Anniversary paper with opening day attraction tickets printed on it, to boot!

The Opening Day Celebration Cake is a gluten-friendly chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate mousse and a strawberry center. It’s decorated with balloon sprinkles and has a chocolate piece on the end.

Lords and Ladies of the (Magic) Kingdom! The Royal 50th Churros are rolled in strawberry sugar, drizzled with marshmallow cream, and topped with shimmer sprinkles. And you get a side of chocolate dipping sauce as well for the finishing touch.

You’ll find different “Celebratory Sips” at the various Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea kiosks around the Resort. In Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, Joffrey’s Revive is serving the Golden Shooting Star, a creamy Strawberry Frappe topped with Whipped Cream and EARidescent Pink and Gold Sprinkles.

The brand new Table Service restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, opened on October 1st in EPCOT’s France pavilion along with the also newly open Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction! The spot also offers a quick service component: Crêpes À Emporter at La Crêperie de Paris serving tasty crêpes on-the-go.

50th Anniversary Celebration Fiesta Pyramid — San Angel Inn

The 50th Anniversary Celebration Fiesta Pyramid just LOOKS like a party, doesn’t it?! The pyramid is made of a hard chocolate shell and decorated with a multi-colored EARidescent shimmer. And inside? You’ll find a mix of Mexican mousse and toffee… IF you work up the nerve to break this beautiful thing open! It’s all served atop a traditional tres leches cake and accompanied by scoops of ice cream.

This particular Fiesta is a whopping $34.00 at  San Angel Inn in EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion.

Smoked Meatloaf Platter — Flame Tree Barbecue

I know… the first thing you think when it comes to celebratory eats is meatloaf, right?! Wait, No? Well, the Smoked Meatloaf Platter may just change your mind. The platter is supposed to include barbecue-glazed house-smoked meatloaf, garlic bread, fries, baked beans, and coleslaw. We received sides of fries, macaroni and cheese, and chili. (Not sure what happened there, but we’re not complaining!!)

The EARidescent Sip-a-bration is a non-alcoholic beverage made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade and fruity strawberry punch, and served in a souvenir 50th Celebration Cup. A “surprise Character” (ours was Mickey, as you can see…) creates a special effect for the drink!

As you can also see, Mickey turns the drink red, while Minnie turns the drink blue, Pluto turns the drink yellow, and Donald turns the drink green!

The EARidescent Sip-a-bration is $10.00, and while we tried it at Steakhouse 71, this concoction is being served at select Table Service restaurants, lounges, and pool bars all over Disney World!

Of course, if you eat as much popcorn as we do 😉 , you’ll definitely want to consider the 50th Anniversary Refillable Popcorn Bucket! All around, you’ll find Disney characters decked out in their 50th Anniversary celebration outfits! Mickey and Minnie Mouse are in a Mad Tea Party Teacup with Dumbo flying overhead. We also spotted Orange Bird, Figment, Goofy, Donald Duck, and more!

As is the case with all Standard Refillable Popcorn Buckets, it’s $13.00 for the bucket (which comes full of popcorn) and $2.25 for refills. This once-in-a-lifetime Bucket will be available at Popcorn Carts in the theme parks starting October 1st!

If you’ve REALLY got a serious sweet tooth, you can check out the 50th Celebration Cupcake made with vanilla cake, marshmallow cream, birthday cake mousse, and gold crispy pearls around the border. There’s also that now-familiar (and quite tasty, BTW!) milk chocolate 50th icon medallion on top.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

California Grill is currently presenting a new, special dining experience for a limited time in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort! The 3-course prix fixe menu was created to “evoke the spirit of 1971″ — the opening year of Walt Disney World (and also the opening year of the Top of the World!).

Steakhouse 71 is a NEW restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The “71” is a nod to the opening year of Walt Disney World, and the restaurant itself opened on October 1, 2021 to honor the 50th Anniversary of the Resort!

Steakhouse 71 offers casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with varying menus for each meal), and the first full meal we enjoyed there was lunch.

But the wonderful ol’ standby, Contempo Cafe, hasn’t missed out on the Anniversary fun with TWO treats including the 50th Anniversary Peanut Butter-Banana Pie. This is a sweet tart shell filled with peanut butter mousse and banana sauce, topped with chocolate glaze and chocolate décor in the form of a 50th medallion, edible glitter, and chocolate curls.
