The Monte Cristo Sandwich is something of a nod to Disneyland, where it’s a fan favorite. The Plaza’s take is made with Deep-fried Funnel Cake Batter, Bacon, Roasted Turkey, and Provolone sprinkled with EARidescent and Powdered Sugar and served with a side of Strawberry Jam.

The Toad Burger — The Friar’s Nook

Well, well, well… look at what the Friar is serving: it’s The Toad Burger! (Wait… maybe it’s The Toad Burger that’s looking at YOU…) This is a brat burger served on a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and American cheese, served with a side of tater tots.

This tribute to Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is  $12.99 at The Friar’s Nook.

Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae — Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies

The Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae is chocolate and vanilla soft-serve, brownie pieces, hot fudge, and whipped cream topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles served in a bathtub bowl! Uncle Orville is, of course, a character from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. (You’ll see him soaking in a bathtub during Act 2 of the attraction, which is set in the 1920s.)

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room has inspired the Tropical Serenade, which is made of the famous POG juice (passion fruit, orange, and guava juice) with coconut soft serve, topped with a pineapple upside-down cake pop.

Are you ready for the SQUID’S REVENGE? Frankly, we weren’t.  This alcoholic beverage is a Michelada with a Salted Rim, garnished with Charred Octopus and Cucumber. (Longtime Disney fans will likely recognize that this beverage is inspired by the Giant Squid from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.) And, welp… here it is:

Be Our Guest Restaurant has also added a few 20,000 Leagues-inspired options to the choices for their regular prix-fixe meal. For instance, the Captain Nemo Octopus is an option for your Appetizer. This dish is a Seaweed Salad with Cucumber, Pickled Beets, Hearts of Palm, Tapioca Crackers, Beets Mousse, and Carrot-Ginger Silk.

A nod to a bygone Tomorrowland attraction, the “If You Had Wings” Chicken Strips are Caribbean jerk chicken strips served with a side of Lays potato chips or a Cuties mandarin orange.

One of our favorite savory snacks spots in Magic Kingdom is serving up 50th Celebration Springs Rolls! They are filled with Pastrami and Pepper Jack Cheese and served with a Mustard Dipping Sauce.

You’ll find them at the Spring Roll Cart just before the entrance to Adventureland, and it’s $9.50 for two Rolls (which you can also mix and match with the other featured Spring Roll flavor, if you wish).

Well, here’s the thing about the EARidescent Nugget Churro dish… These are basically the same mini churros Pecos Bill typically serves, so there’s nothing especially unique about them — even the “EARidescent” sugar looks like… well, SUGAR.

Doom Berry — Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

The 999 Happy Haunts from the Haunted Mansion want to celebrate the Anniversary, too… hence, the Doom Berry! A nod to the Mansion’s Doom Buggies, this non-alcoholic drink is made of Blackberry Ginger Beer with EARidescence Sugar and is meant to be served with a Haunted Mansion paper straw (which you can see with the treat below).

Novelty Minnie Mouse Sipper — Snack Carts Around the Park

If you can’t get enough of the Disney Characters in their special Anniversary duds (I know we can’t!), keep your eyes peeled for the Minnie Mouse Souvenir Sipper! The ever-fashionable Minnie is all dressed up in her 50th anniversary outfit, with EARidescent colors of blue and purple and gold trim, complete with her gold bow.

We love you, Minnie! And so does everybody else, because this item sold out quickly on October 1st, the opening day of the celebration. But we are keeping an eye our for her grand return! If you spot the Minnie Mouse Sipper, she’s $15.00 at snack carts around the park.

La Creperie de Paris — A New Restaurant

The brand new Table Service restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, opened on October 1st in EPCOT’s France pavilion along with the also newly open Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction! The spot also offers a quick service component: Crêpes À Emporter at La Crêperie de Paris serving tasty crêpes on-the-go.

50th Anniversary Celebration Fiesta Pyramid — San Angel Inn

The 50th Anniversary Celebration Fiesta Pyramid just LOOKS like a party, doesn’t it?! The pyramid is made of a hard chocolate shell and decorated with a multi-colored EARidescent shimmer. And inside? You’ll find a mix of Mexican mousse and toffee… IF you work up the nerve to break this beautiful thing open! It’s all served atop a traditional tres leches cake and accompanied by scoops of ice cream.

This particular Fiesta is a whopping $34.00 at  San Angel Inn in EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion.

7-Layer Cake — Italy Pavilion

The colorful 7-Layer Cake is topped with dark chocolate ganache and gold sprinkles featuring flavors of almond, raspberry and dark chocolate. (Nope. You’re not wrong; the 7-Layer Cake is not made with 7 layers, but what can you do?)

Now, the KiteTails Sundae isn’t one of the official Anniversary treats, but we’re giving it a nod here because the new Disney KiteTails show made its official debut on October 1st as part of the Anniversary festivities! This treat is made with strawberry and lemon-flavored soft-serve swirled together and topped with a white chocolate medallion. (Our medallion, as you can see, featured King Louie, one of the high-flying stars of the show!)

I know… the first thing you think when it comes to celebratory eats is meatloaf, right?! Wait, No? Well, the Smoked Meatloaf Platter may just change your mind. The platter is supposed to include barbecue-glazed house-smoked meatloaf, garlic bread, fries, baked beans, and coleslaw. We received sides of fries, macaroni and cheese, and chili. (Not sure what happened there, but we’re not complaining!!)

The Lion’s Lair features Dole Whip Pineapple topped with a sour-apple flavored syrup and Parrot Bay Coconut Rum. It can also be purchased without the rum as Scar’s Lair.

The 50th Celebration Rainbow Popcorn and Chili-Lime Caramel Corn Mix have two things in common: they are both bright and colorful, and they both come in a new Popcorn Bucket inspired by the new daytime show in the park, Disney KiteTails! But the taste of each is quite different…

Each Popcorn Mix is $12.00 and includes the souvenir Popcorn Bucket. We found it at the Popcorn Cart outside of the entrance to Disney KiteTails.

Golden Savannah — Joffrey’s Entrance Kiosk and Royal Anandapur Tea Company

You’ll find different “Celebratory Sips” at the various Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea kiosks around the Resort. In Animal Kingdom, for instance, Matcha fans can find the Golden Savannah. It’s a Frozen Matcha Frappe topped with Whipped Cream and EARidescent Green and Gold Sprinkles.

You’ll find it at the Joffrey’s Entrance kiosk in front of the park and Royal Anandapur Tea Company for $6.39.

Even a grab-and-go breakfast item has received a little 50th Anniversary touch in Disney’s Animal Kingdom: BEHOLD the 50th Anniversary Birthday Muffin! It’s… well, it’s your basic House-Made Blueberry Muffin with a surprise addition of colorful sprinkles.

We followed up the Filet Mignon with the 50th Celebration Baked Alaska. This lovely dessert features Layers of Strawberry-Basil Sorbet, Vanilla Gelato, and Sponge Cake coated in Toasted Meringue and Caramelized Brownie Bites.

Chocolate Mousse — ABC Commissary

There’s more to the Chocolate Mousse than the simple name implies. It’s a raspberry-dark chocolate mousse, chocolate-almond cake, and a layer of hazelnut crunch and whipped chocolate-hazelnut cheesecake.

Shimmer Over the Moon — Several Locations

The Shimmer Over the Moon cocktail is in keeping with the glitzy treats at Hollywood Studios; it practically GLOWS! It’s made with Ole Smoky Apple Pie Moonshine, Amaretto, Falernum Syrup, Pineapple Juice, and Club Soda, and served with a Souvenir Glow Cube. It’s got a bit of a kick to it, too!

Find it for for $14.00 at bars around the park including Animation Bar, Oasis Canteen, The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, and Sunshine Day Bar.

Caramel Apple Tart — ABC Commissary

If you’d like to enjoy some fall flavors along with your Anniversary treat, consider the Caramel Apple Tart! It’s made with spiced caramel-cheesecake mousse apple dusted in gold atop a cinnamon-apple tart.

The EARidescent Sip-a-bration is a non-alcoholic beverage made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade and fruity strawberry punch, and served in a souvenir 50th Celebration Cup. A “surprise Character” (ours was Mickey, as you can see…) creates a special effect for the drink!

As you can also see, Mickey turns the drink red, while Minnie turns the drink blue, Pluto turns the drink yellow, and Donald turns the drink green!

The EARidescent Sip-a-bration is $10.00, and while we tried it at Steakhouse 71, this concoction is being served at select Table Service restaurants, lounges, and pool bars all over Disney World!

You may recognize Joffrey’s from spotting the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea kiosks serving specialty beverages all around Walt Disney World. But you can also purchase Joffrey’s Coffee by the bag to enjoy at home. And we’ve spotted the Joffrey’s 50th Anniversary Coffee Blend available at merchandise locations like Magic Kingdom’s Emporium, featuring notes of blueberry, black cherry, and a hint of lemon in the dark blend.

The 11 ounce bag is $13.99. Check major merchandise locations around Disney World (such as Creations Shop in EPCOT and Discovery Trading Company in Animal Kingdom), as well as the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company storefront in Disney Springs.

All around, you’ll find Disney characters decked out in their 50th Anniversary celebration outfits! Mickey and Minnie Mouse are in a Mad Tea Party Teacup with Dumbo flying overhead. We also spotted Orange Bird, Figment, Goofy, Donald Duck, and more!

Steakhouse 71 is a NEW restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The “71” is a nod to the opening year of Walt Disney World, and the restaurant itself opened on October 1, 2021 to honor the 50th Anniversary of the Resort!

Steakhouse 71 offers casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with varying menus for each meal), and the first full meal we enjoyed there was lunch.

But the wonderful ol’ standby, Contempo Cafe, hasn’t missed out on the Anniversary fun with TWO treats including the 50th Anniversary Peanut Butter-Banana Pie. This is a sweet tart shell filled with peanut butter mousse and banana sauce, topped with chocolate glaze and chocolate décor in the form of a 50th medallion, edible glitter, and chocolate curls.

The Polynesian’s take on the 50th Celebration Cupcake presents a vanilla cupcake with a DOLE Whip pineapple center, tropical fruit salsa, and topped with a pineapple macaron and a white chocolate medallion! Yep, my friends, there’s a Dole Whip pineapple custard filling inside the cupcake!
