REVIEW: Is a Dole Whip Slush REALLY Worth $11 in Disney World?!

It’s Disney World’s 50th Anniversary and there are a TON of new treats around the parks and resorts!

We’ve been making our way around Disney World trying bathtubs full of ice cream, spicy things, and SO much more. We stopped by Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom to check out their new 50th Anniversary treats — here’s what we thought!

Tavern Punch, which is Frozen Dole Whip Lemon with Sprite, is available for $11! This wasn’t as tart as we expected, which was a pleasant surprise! It was also just the right amount of sweet and it was refreshing and cool without being too heavy like a milkshake!

Our only complaint is that it’s a little pricey (you can grab a Frozen Lemonade Slush at the Liberty Square Market nearby for $4.99).

The I Can Not Tell a Lie Milkshake, which is a Vanilla and Cherry Shake garnished with a Brown Sugar-Graham Cracker Rim, is also available for $11! The shake itself was nice and VERY filling, but the graham cracker rim was a bit disappointing.

It was soggy and gross — we didn’t like it at all! If you want a nice shake, this is a good choice, just steer clear of the rim. Also, this one is VERY filling, so don’t get this if you’re already stuffed.

Pennsylvania Pot Roast, which features a Pot Roast with Mushrooms, Pearl Onions, and Carrot in a rich Gravy, is included with the All You Care To Eat price (it’s $39 per adult and $21 per child).

This pot roast was a bit on the fatty side, but that fat brought all the flavor! This is definitely stick-to-your-ribs home-style cooking, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something lighter.
