Review: We Bet You've Never Had This Unexpected Ice Cream Flavor in Disney World!

The start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary was over a month ago, but the celebrations are continuing for another several months.

Happy 50th, Disney World!

Disney has already released TONS of new, themed snacks for the occasion and we’re constantly on the lookout for any new snacks. Today, we’re heading into the parks to try out a recently released dessert that’s available now in honor of the 50th Anniversary and it features a UNIQUE flavor!

This new treat can be found at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom.

This spot often has different flavors of ice cream and floats (we’ve already tried and loved the Snow White Cone and the Heigh-Ho Sundae from this spot), so it’s no surprise that the new treat is a soft-serve ice cream cone! It’s called the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cone.

For $5.99, you can get cranberry-vanilla soft-serve ice cream in a cone, decorated with a chocolate belt buckle and chocolate face, ours was of Grumpy. OooO Cranberry soft serve! We’ve seen cranberry-flavored ice cream offered over at Salt & Straw in Disneyland, but it’s definitely a more unique flavor to find in the parks in the form of ice cream.

Since it’s cranberry flavored, we guess this sort-of counts as a holiday treat as well!

We thought the Seven Dwarfs cone was delicious! The cranberry flavor is very refreshing, and it mixed well with the creamy vanilla. None of the flavors were overwhelming or super strong, so you don’t even have to be a huge cranberry fan to enjoy this.

The flavors are simple, but they work really well together. We definitely enjoyed this treat! Both of the chocolate decorations are normal white chocolate, which was a nice and sweet added touch.

The cone was also super tasty — it was crisp, crunchy, and perfect! But, be aware that this treat melts very quickly, even when it’s a little cooler outside. So make sure to grab some napkins when you order it!
