Have you ever been to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds?
This spot has all kinds of fun activities, like pools, horseback riding, sleigh rides, playgrounds, walking trails, and more. As people with a passion for food in Disney World, one of our favorite seasonal activities is the Food Truck Round-Up, where different food trucks get together so we can try out a whole bunch of delicious snacks. This time, we found a NEW food truck, and the snack we got from it will blow your mind.
The Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds has a Food Truck Round-Up from October 24th through the 31st from 3PM to 9:30PM at the Settlement.
We moseyed on over there to check out the menus for these trucks, and we noticed a new one parked here: The Pizzaacone Xpress.
This food truck serves pizza, but not by the slice. You can get pizza in a CONE here. This is giving us major Disneyland vibes — remember the Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Cone from the Cozy Cone Motel?? And this new spot has pizza cones as well!
They’re calling it the “new way to eat pizza,” and based on our experience, they might be right. You could get a cheese pizza cone or one with pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, pineapple, ham, or any combination of those. The pizza cones range from $7 to $9, and any additional toppings are $1 each.
There are also self-serve additions like crushed red pepper and granulated garlic, so you can customize your pizza cone however you like it. We decided to try out the Pepperoni and Italian Sausage Pizza Cone for $9.
This snack looks amazing. Quick note here: it was SUPER hot when they gave it to us. We’re really glad it’s so fresh, but we’re also very thankful that they wrapped it up in napkins so we didn’t burn our fingers. Just be mindful of that if you’re ordering it for kids!
OK, but let’s just take a second to appreciate the genius behind this. They took two amazing things — pizza and ice cream cones — and made one magnificent snack.
We didn’t even know how much we needed this in Disney World until now.
In case pizza cones are new to you, it’s basically a pastry cone that’s filled with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
We also added red pepper flakes to ours, and we liked the flavor kick that it gave the snack.
We are firm believers that you can judge a snack’s quality by its cheese pull…
…and just LOOK at the cheese pull on this cone. 😍
Since we’ve been taking pics and tasting it for a while, the pizza cone was finally cool enough to take the napkins off, so here’s a closer look at the cone itself.
You can either take the utensils route (which we recommend when it’s still super hot) or you can just jump in and eat it like an ice cream cone!
We thought the crust on our cone was very crispy, and it was surprisingly not too greasy. The inside of the cone was a little greasy from the pepperoni and sausage, though. And it was LOADED with cheese. We do not know how to communicate the sheer amount of cheese to you. There was so much of it. We were so happy.
We wished the toppings went all the way down the cone, but they were pretty much just on top. The rest of the cone was filled with cheese and a little bit of sauce. Seriously, there was an aggressive amount of cheese here.
If you’re a pizza fan, we think you’ll love this snack. It’s basically a meal, and we thought it was a great value for $9. We especially recommend this for lovers of stuffed crust pizzas — that’s what the end of the cone reminded us of!

Blog posting publication dates? I see at the very bottom this Pizza Cone review is posted in 2021. How does this older man (me) find the month a blog is posted? I store a lot of your blogs for information which might impact our upcoming February 2022 visit to WDW, but some of the info changes do to COVID and Disney changes (Genie+).
David, the dates are in the URLs. 🙂
I love pizza and I would definitely get this (the plain cheese and sauce, no meat) as a snack. It looks good and convenient.
