The holiday season in Disney World has officially shifted from Halloween to Christmas.
That’s meant a BIG change in decorations, treats, and merchandise throughout the parks (although we’re still seeing some leftovers from the spooky season!). We’re heading into the Magic Kingdom to check out all the new things that have arrived at this park in the last week. Let’s go see what’s new!
We’ll start out with our favorite update: food!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
When Starbucks starts selling holiday drinks, that means it’s really the Christmas season. You can now get a variety of festive drinks, like the Caramel Brûlée Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Irish Cream Cold Brew, and more.
We decided to try the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, which is a new drink this season! It’s an iced latte with hints of sugar cookie flavor, topped with sugar cookie sprinkles.
This drink had the perfect amount of holiday cheer, with a subtle but delicious cookie flavor. You can get one at the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom (or the Starbucks location in any of the parks) for $5.69.

Or you can head down to the Main Street Confectionery to find more options for coffee and hot cocoa! The hot cocoa tins were $13.99 for a set of 3.
This spot has packages of coffee available as well, and we spotted some new packaging when we visited!
There were new designs on the Mickey’s “Really Swell” Coffee bags for several different flavors, including the Signature Blend…
…French Vanilla…
…Pumpkin Spice…
…Morning Roast…
…and Organic.
You can also get the coffee in single-service cups (for Keurig machines) in Morning Roast…
…Hazelnut…
…Signature Blend…
…and Organic. The K-Cups come with 12 single servings and cost $16.99 per package.
The best part about these treats? You can take them home with you and have Disney-themed coffee all season long.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
If you’re looking for new Disney World merchandise, you’ll find plenty of it in the Magic Kingdom! The Emporium (that big gift shop on Main Street, U.S.A.) just got a ton of holiday merchandise.
We saw new Minnie Ears…
…new spirit jerseys with Mickey and the gang playing winter sports…
…home decor like blankets, pillows, and candles…
…pajama sets…
…ornaments…
…and so much more! We have a full list with EVERYTHING we saw in this shop (including links to buy the souvenirs online, if available!).

Also at the Emporium (but not holiday merchandise), we found two 50th Anniversary dolls available for $34.99 each. There’s one for Mickey Mouse…
…and another for Minnie Mouse.
In other merchandise news, you can head to Tomorrowland where we spotted a new Apple Watch band in the Light and Power gift shop for $34.99.
Just across the way at Star Traders, there was a new Donald Duck T-shirt for $36.99…
…and tropical Stitch sweatpants for $44.99.
And there was a new Coco Loungefly backpack available at the gift shop for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride!
This bag had embroidered images from the movie all over it, and adjustable red straps.
You can get it for $75.
While you’re over in Adventureland, you can still check out the 50th Anniversary sunglasses over at the Sunglass Hut.
The set comes with the glasses, a case, and accessories, and it’ll cost you $330. Apparently they’re very popular — despite the high price tag — because a Cast Member told us they only had a few left in the store.
Hop over to Frontierland to the Frontier Trading Post to check out their limited edition pins! These are all themed after a Disney World attraction, and they’re $17.99 each. There was one for Dumbo the Flying Elephant…
…Peter Pan’s Flight…
…the Enchanted Tiki Room…
…Mad Teacups…
…the Haunted Mansion…
…Space Mountain…
…Pirates of the Caribbean…
…and the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Maybe we can get the railroad pin to help cure our sadness that this attraction has been closed in the Magic Kingdom for so long. There was also a pin set for the upcoming Book of Boba Fett series, which is debuting on Disney+ on December 29th this year.
You can get all four pins for $29.99. Or you can check out the Lilo and Stitch Countdown to Christmas pin, which was $34.99.
Whew! That’s a lot of new merchandise. So if you’re heading into the Magic Kingdom soon, make sure to check out some of the new souvenirs.
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Earlier in the week, we noticed that the Jungle Cruise had gotten its holiday makeover and is now the Jingle Cruise!
This attraction got another update more recently: some of the plexiglass barriers on the boat between the guests and the skipper have been removed, and you can now see and hear the skipper better.
There are still barriers on the benches to the side of the skipper, but the big barrier in the middle is no longer there.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is still under construction right now as imagineers add a new Coco-inspired scene to the show.
It’s reopening on November 12th (that’s next Friday!), so you can head in then to see the updates. Right now, though, it looks like the main sign is getting a new paint job and switching from gold to blue.
That’s it for our updates in the Magic Kingdom today! Make sure to keep following DFB, because we’ll let you know about all the latest news in Disney World.
