There are quite a few new things coming to Disney World soon!
We’ve got the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris, plus the addition of new fireworks shows at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. But that’s not all! A new scene is being added to Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Fantasyland, and now we know when the reimagined version of the show will premiere.
On November 12, 2021, the Magic Kingdom version of Mickey’s PhilharMagic will be getting a new addition — the “Un Poco Loco” scene from Pixar’s Coco! The scene will feature a score produced by original Coco composer Germaine Franco.
If it follows the rest of the short show, the new scene will feature Donald Duck chasing after Mickey’s magical sorcerer hat. The scene has already premiered at the Disneyland Resort version of the attraction.
According to the Disney World website, the show is set to close for refurbishment on Monday, October 11th. It will remain closed until it reopens with the new scene the following month.
We’ll make sure to visit Magic Kingdom on November 12th to check out this change. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest news and updates on everything coming to Disney World!
