It’s super exciting when new restaurants come to Disney World!
We recently got several new restaurants like Space 220, Steakhouse 71, and La Creperie de Paris in the Disney parks and hotels. But, there are also some great places to eat off Disney property! And, there’s a new restaurant coming to a popular off property hotel that’s right next to Disney World.
We found out last month that celebrity chef Richard Blais would be opening a new restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress near Disney Springs, and now we have more details! The restaurant will be called Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen.
It will take over the former Hemingway’s venue with a new tropical look and design that allows guests a look into the kitchen.
The name Four Flamingos is referencing the four species of flamingo that are native to the Americas and the bird’s tendency to gather and eat in groups. The food at the restaurant will be inspired by tropical flavors and ingredients from Florida, including things like stone crab, citrus, and Mahi Mahi. It will also offer the best of fresh-caught surf and fire-grilled turf.
Chef Richard Blais is known for being the first winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars and recently announced co-star of the new Gordon Ramsay / FOX cooking competition, Next Level Chef.
Reservations for Four Flamingos and a full menu will be available soon on the restaurant’s website. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food news and updates.
