It has been QUITE the unexpected week in Disney World!
The holidays are here!
This week we saw surprise performances (even including celebrities!) and some RARE character appearances, so let’s get into it.
Celebrities Performing in EPCOT
Country singer Brett Eldredge performed some holiday tunes for cameras in EPCOT, near Spaceship Earth!

And later, Chance the Rapper also performed in EPCOT. We didn’t hear any holiday music from him but the performance was fun!

Both performances were filmed, so we’ll be watching out for what Disney plans to do with this footage! It’ll likely be going in the holiday special!

Marching Band Changed Locations
The Main Street Philharmonic Band performed at an unusual spot this week — in front of Cinderella Castle! Usually, they perform along Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom.

It was so fun to hear their usual Disney classic music from Cinderella Castle, but we don’t yet know if this was a one-time thing or something that might become more regular!

Surprise Characters in Hollywood Studios
In honor of Disney+ Day, we saw SO MANY fun and rare characters in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Darth Vader took a villainous stand near Star Tours.

Carl, Dug, and Russell from Up made an appearance.

And Moana was excited to greet all her visitors!

This is likely just for Disney+ Day today, but we’ll keep an eye out for more unusual character sightings.
