There have been a few changes since our last update, so let’s dive right in and recap what there is to see and do at Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Windtraders

Over in Pandora – The World of Avatar, we noticed a recent restock of a snack you can enjoy on-the-go!

These gummies have been out of stock for some time, and we’re excited to find these shareable goodies back on the shelves.

Pop into Windtraders and you’ll find packaged sour gummies, themed to the Avatar universe. They’re available for $5.79!

Animal Kingdom General Updates

As we shared in our last update from Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest has closed for an extended period of time as the ride undergoes maintenance.

While the ride will be closed for the next few months, Cast Members have been setting up a variety of games outside of the ride’s entrance for guests to enjoy. We spotted some games on a recent trip!

We’ll keep an eye on the progress happening at Expedition Everest, but for now, you can expect the ride to reopen this spring.

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Discovery Trading Company

On a recent trip to Animal Kingdom, we came across the new Lunar New Years Ears at Discovery Trading Company! These are available all around Disney World for $29.99.

Ring in the Year of the Tiger in true Disney style when you pick up a pair of the latest ears. We also found a cute Snack Charm Bracelet featuring some of our favorite classic Disney World goodies, like Dole Whip, pizza, and a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar!

The charm bracelet is available for $24.99!

Island Mercantile

At Island Mercantile, we spotted an adorable new two-piece outfit for the littlest Disney fan on your shopping list!

The outfit includes pants and a sweatshirt and retails for $39.99. If you’re a fan of the new Disney animated film Encanto, we found a couple of new merchandise items over at Island Mercantile, too! First up is this color-changing cup.

Its design features several members of ‘The Family Madrigal,’ including Mirabel.

Add it to your collection for $12.99. And while the holiday season may have just passed, there’s never a bad time to start thinking about NEXT season’s decor! We found a musical Encanto ornament you can add to your tree! The ornament plays ‘The Family Madrigal.’

In fact, this ornament would also make a great piece of decor for your shelf in the “off-season!”

Creature Comforts

We found the newest Starbucks souvenir drinkware in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Over at Creature Comforts (where you’ll find your favorite Starbucks beverages available for purchase), we ran across the newest 50th Anniversary Celebration black and gold tumblers…

…along with the Animal Kingdom ceramic tumblers!

Grab these while they’re in stock! The Starbucks drinkware collections can sell out quickly, so you’ll want to get your hands on these if you collect them!
