It’s almost time! EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts begins January 14th and runs through February 21st, 2022.
This festival celebrates artistic creations in the culinary, performance, and visual arts categories. The booths here have some of the most gorgeous food you’ll ever see, but which ones live up to their looks with great taste? We visit this festival every single year — here are the top things that we eat and drink EVERY. TIME.
We took a look back at the Best of the Fest lists from previous years and checked in with our reporters and team to see which food and drinks you should NOT miss when you visit this festival. Here’s the list of all the items that are on our must-try list every single year! All of these items have been around for at least two years (since 2020), and they’re all returning for the 2022 festival.
Goshiki — Japan
We’ll start out with the Goshiki booth, which features Japanese cuisine.
There’s one can’t-miss item returning this year that we’re VERY excited about!
Sushi Donut
The Sushi Donut is donut-shaped Sushi (shocker) featuring Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp, Cucumber, and Sesame Seed over a decorated plate of Wasabi Aïoli, Sriracha and Eel Sauce.
Not only is this a gorgeous snack, but it also tastes delicious. Last year, the fish was very fresh, the flavors were stunning, and we loved the sauces that accompanied the donut.

L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise – France
Another booth that rarely disappoints is L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise.
This one also has a couple of returning favorites that we will definitely be grabbing this year.
Crème de Brie en Petit Pain
This dish is Warm Creamy Brie in a House-made Bread Bowl. Are you even surprised that it’s one of our favorites? Melted cheese + delicious bread = 🤤
It’s been around for a few years, and it makes us happy every single time we eat it. We pretty much always add melted cheese in bread bowls to our Best of the Fest list. We’re not sorry. Frozen French Martini
To drink, don’t miss out on the Frozen French Martini, which is made with Grey Goose, Vodka, Chambord Liqueur, Pineapple, Orange and Grape Juice with Lemon-Lime Foam.
One of our reporters shared that she gets this not only every year but multiple times every year — it’s that good. The drink isn’t overly sweet, but you can taste all the different flavors, and it’s super refreshing.

Pop Eats
Pop Eats serves food inspired by modern art, with exciting colors and textures.
There are a couple of tasty items returning in 2022, and both of them have to do with tomato soup (although one of them is actually a cocktail)!
Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary
This is exactly what it sounds like: a Bloody Mary cocktail served in a “tomato soup can” cup!
It might make our Best of the Fest list on creativity alone, but this drink is also incredibly delicious and fresh. When we tried it for the first time in 2020, we called it one of the BEST drinks we’ve ever had in Disney World. 😮
Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese
Continuing our tomato soup theme is actual Tomato Soup served with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
The simple version of this dish is great, but we’ve also loved the fancier grilled cheese option, which in the past has included french onions and bacon. This year, a new grilled cheese features bacon, apple, and brie! We can’t wait to see if this new version lives up to last year’s. Pro tip: Definitely dunk your sandwich in the soup.

The Deconstructed Dish
The Deconstructed Dish serves you food that’s been taken apart, with all the elements on the plate but not put together.
You might be thinking “Why do I have to assemble my own food?” And that’s fair. But actually, the fun presentation and delicious flavors have us returning to this booth again and again.
Deconstructed BLT
This is not your average BLT. A bacon-lettuce-tomato sandwich has been upgraded to Crispy Pork Belly, a Soft-poached Egg, Brioche, Watercress Espuma, and Tomato Jam.
And MAN does it work. All of the elements are tasty, from the tender and flavorful pork belly right down to the sweet tomato jam. You can mix and match which ingredients you try together in a bite, and we’re pretty sure you can’t create any wrong combinations.

The Artist’s Table
Our last item is from The Artist’s Table, which can be found in the American Adventure pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase.
This booth has a few tasty items (like the Beef Wellington), but only one of them made our must-buy list this year.
Sipping Chocolate Flight
You can get a Sipping Chocolate Flight here, which includes White, Milk, and Dark Chocolate drinks. These are all non-alcoholic, although there is an alcoholic version called Symphony in Chocolate Flight, which includes Mozart Cream Liqueurs paired with Sipping Chocolates.
Sipping chocolate is basically what you’d get if you melted down three different chocolate bars. Think hot cocoa but a whole lot more rich and creamy. This treat has been on our Best of the Fest lists since 2017, so we feel pretty confident that it will continue to be a fan favorite.
Now you know exactly what to order at the Festival of the Arts in EPCOT! Keep following DFB, and we’ll keep you updated with reviews of EVERYTHING from this year’s booths. And don’t forget to be on the lookout for our 2022 Best of the Fest list! We can’t wait to see what makes the cut this year!
