Disney World isn’t the only resort celebrating a major milestone in 2022! While the 50th Anniversary Celebration in Florida continues throughout the year, Disneyland Paris is also gearing up to celebrate its 30th Anniversary!

While the resort’s 30th Anniversary doesn’t officially take place until April of this year, the festivities are starting on March 6th, 2022. And we have tons of exciting details to share with you!

Disneyland Paris will debut NEW shows as part of its 30th Anniversary Celebration. First up is Dream…and Shine Brighter!, a new daytime show that will be performed several times each day at Central Plaza at Disneyland Park in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The show will feature over 30 characters and will center on the themes of the power of laugh, passion, and dreams. Mickey, Minnie, and the gang will be sporting their new outfits in this show — take a look at their 30th Anniversary looks below:

Speaking of new looks, we have to talk about Minnie’s new look and first-ever pantsuit, designed In a statement, McCartney said, “I am delighted to be working with the one, the only, the iconic Minnie Mouse…I wanted Minnie to wear her very first pantsuit at Disneyland Paris, so I have designed one of my iconic costumes – a blue tuxedo – using responsibly sourced fabrics. This new take on her signature polka dots makes Minnie Mouse a symbol of progress for a new generation. She will wear it in honor of Women’s History Month, in March 2022. I can’t wait for you to see this new look at Walt Disney Studios Park!”

Once the sun goes down, get ready for another new show called Disney D-Light, which will perform nightly before Disney Illuminations. Disney D-Light combines video projections, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist, iconic Disney songs, and 200 drones — yes, DRONES — choreographed to bring a magical new look to the night sky. There’s even more to take in as you make your way around Sleeping Beauty Castle. Gardens of Wonder is a new installation of gorgeous art pieces spanning across ten themed garden areas. The gardens will feature “kinetic Disney and Pixar sculptures which will all ‘come to life.'”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney celebration without new food and drink items to enjoy! Disneyland Paris will debut over 60 new dishes for the 30th Anniversary, including special entrees, desserts, and cocktails throughout the resort’s restaurants and dining locations.

We also have to talk merchandise! Disney World is STILL debuting brand-new souvenirs for its 50th Anniversary Celebration, and now we have more goodies to look forward to in Disneyland Paris for their 30th Anniversary. Just like Disney World, it looks like Disneyland Paris will have several unique collections of merchandise, including a 30th Anniversary series (with a familiar iridescent color scheme)…

…as well as a luxe, golden theme. In fact, for the 30th Anniversary, Disney will release “more than 350 new exclusive items,” making this “the most significant product development program ever conducted at Disneyland Paris.”

Last but not least, the second Avengers Campus will open at Walt Disney Studios Park in the summer of 2022 during the 30th Anniversary Celebration! The land joins Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in offering guests to team up with their favorite Marvel superheroes. Based on the concept art below, Disneyland Paris’ version will include character meet and greets, their own version of WEB Slingers, along with an Iron Man-themed roller coaster!
