It’s finally happening — another part of the Disney World experience is coming BACK soon!
Over the past few months, we’ve seen a number of things return to or reopen at Disney World. Many restaurants, hotels, attractions, and tours are available for fans to enjoy again at the Most Magical Place on Earth. And soon one more thing will be coming back…Minnie Vans!
In March, Disney shared a video via TikTok all about Minnie Vans. In the TikTok, they share that Minnie Vans (which are connected by Lyft) will be rolling back in this summer!
@disneyparks It really works! Minnie Vans connected by @Lyft are rolling back in this #Summer at #DisneyWorld 🚗 #Disney #DisneyParks #MinnieMouse #ToyCars #MinnieVan #CarTok #Water #Lyft
The drivers of the Minnie Van vehicles are actually Disney Cast Members who have been trained to get you where you need to go. Each vehicle comes equipped with 2 child safety seats. Prices can vary depending on distance traveled. You’ll be able to see that total cost and pay for it through the Lyft app.
Minnie Vans also previously offered an airport service that would transport guests from/to Orlando International Airport.
The Minnie Vans service has been temporarily suspended for quite some time now. For months we wondered if and when this service would resume, and we even saw a Minnie Van driving around back in 2020!
Now it seems like some of our questions have been answered. Minnie Vans will be coming back to Disney World this summer.
But there are many more questions left to be answered. Will the airport service be returning along with the more traditional car service around the resort? How much will it cost? Will anything be different about the service now? What safety rules and regulations will be put in place due to COVID-19? Exactly when will it return? Disney hasn’t shared these details yet, but we’ll be on the lookout for more updates!

HORRAY! This is the first indication that “My Disney” is not lost!
I canceled my trip this year for all the inconvenience’s with the transportation and other reasons for Disney as soon as I can book for late 2023 I will probably book a trip to the yacht club those mini vans we used all the time there worth the extra money that’s in the wright direction
I’d rather drive around Disney in my own rental vehicle on my own schedule. LYFT already ripped me off once and I won’t give them another chance. I always rent a vehicle anyway as I never fly into MCO so it’s just much easier. The AAA parking spaces work out pretty good, as well as a few other options that are available to me.
We saw a Minnie van in Columbus Ohio driving down the street outside a theater last month. Not sure how it got yo Columbus but it was there.
More good news! Best thing, ever for park hopping.
We love Minnie Vans! They are our favorite method of transportation. With an ECV In tow its faster and easier than using a Disney bus. There are specific Minnie Vans that are used for ECVs. It helps make our vacation much more comfortable and fun. The drivers are nice and informative. We are very happy the Minnie Vans have returned! Thank you, Disney !
