It’s been several months since we said goodbye to Disney’s Magical Express.
This complimentary bus service shuttled guests from the Orlando International Airport to their Disney Resort hotel and vice versa, but Disney ended the Magical Express in early 2022. In its place, a few new contenders have emerged, including the Sunshine Flyer. It seems to be doing well, too, because the Sunshine Flyer has EXPANDED!
The Sunshine Flyer recently added ten new buses to its fleet — and fans have officially named the new rides! Note that The Sunshine Flyer is not a Disney-operated transportation option and it’s not free, so you’ll have to be prepared for some of those changes if you plan to use this service for your next trip.
The unique thing about the buses used on The Sunshine Flyer is that they’re each themed to old-style trains and there’s even some special theming when it comes to employee costumes.

And it looks like the service is getting a bit bigger. The Sunshine Flyer previously announced that it would be adding ten additional buses to its lineup, and asked its fans and followers for help naming the new buses.
And the results are in! Here are the names of the ten new buses being added to the Sunshine Flyer’s fleet:
- Marlin
- Dingo
- Cricket
- Bumble Bee
- Oriole
- Ladybug
- Peacock
- Koala
- Robin
- Platypus
Clearly, the names follow a popular theme — animals! What bus do you hope to get if you decide to use this service? Tell us in the comments!
