It’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan right now — from the opening of the Galactic Starcruiser to all of the original Disney+ shows.
One of the shows that has a ton of anticipation around it is Obi-Wan Kenobi! Ewan McGregor is reprising his role from the prequel films and Hayden Christensen is even coming back as Darth Vader. Disney has already released a first look at the series and when it will be released, but now, we have some important news about the premiere date for Obi-Wan Kenobi!
The premiere date for Obi-Wan Kenobi is being pushed back to Friday, May 27th. It was originally supposed to premiere on Wednesday, May 25th.
The news was shared on the Star Wars Twitter account in a video featuring Ewan McGregor. But, he also shared some good news about the premiere of the series — even though we have to wait another two days to watch, the first TWO episodes will both be available on May 27th!

Woot! The 27th is our 27th wedding anniversary. “Star Wars: A New Hope” was the first movie either of us ever saw in a theater, and our whole family is obsessed with everything Star Wars. This will be a fabulous anniversary gift!
