We’re also looking forward to things that are going to return in the future, like Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Disney recently announced that a major Cast Member program would be returning soon, and now, select people can apply to be a part of it!
Applications are NOW OPEN for the Cultural Representative Program at Walt Disney World! Disney says that people from select countries are invited to apply. These countries include: Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom.
So, even though only people from select countries can apply right now, Disney does say they “look forward to the day when we can welcome back participants from all corners of the world.”
The Cultural Representative Program at Disney World hires people from around the world to work in EPCOT’s World Showcase pavilions. Cast Members will workin the pavilion that represents their home country.
This program was temporarily suspended in 2020 due to the global pandemic, with other Cast Members working in the World Showcase pavilions since the program stopped.
Disney has said that the program will be returning in phases, and one of those phases began back in March. When Disney first made the announcement, they said that “participants from select countries whose 2020 program was shortened or canceled [are] now being offered the opportunity to apply.” So, these participants should have received an email with details about the application process.
We’ll be sure to update you whenever Disney opens up applications to more countries, so stay tuned to DFB for news!
