Did you know that Christmas merchandise is available in the Disney World parks pretty much all year round? Or sometimes, Disney even surprises us with holiday merchandise and treats when we don’t expect it like they did for Disney’s recent Halfway to Halloween event!
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Disney World
Even now in May, you can visit the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom to get your Christmas fix, explore the winter wonderland that is Disney’s Days of Christmas in Disney Springs, or find select ornaments in various Disney shops around the parks. Because, it’s never too early to find the perfect ornament for your Christmas tree, right? Well, today we spotted another new ornament in Disney World featuring one of the most popular rides in Magic Kingdom!
We’ve seen ornaments themed after restaurants, characters, and rides before, but the newest addition to your Disney Christmas celebrations? Space Mountain! That’s right, you can now hang the roller coaster on your tree!
So fun!
The ornament features the iconic building that you’ll recognize from Magic Kingdom on one side (even down to the planters in front of the sign!) and a space scene with an astronaut and ride vehicles on the other!
Whoa!
And, you’ll need a strong tree branch to hang this beauty on because it’s pretty large!
We want all of the mountains as ornaments, Disney!
We spotted it in the Space Mountain Gift Shop but it’s also available in several other stores around the Disney Parks for $29.99 — just keep an eye out when you’re shopping! And, as always, stay tuned to DFB for more of the latest Disney news and updates!
