For starters, you get to work in Disney World! And while that may be one of the biggest perks, there are also other fun benefits like complimentary theme park admission, the ability to have fun with guests, recognition for doing an amazing job, and Cast Member events! And speaking of Cast Member events, Disney World just hosted an exciting competition for its Cast Members…and we may be a little jealous!
Have you ever wanted to race around the Rivers of America in a canoe? While we might not be able to, Cast Members can — and do! The annual Canoe Races of the World (a.k.a. C.R.O.W.) event invites Cast Members to partake in a one-of-a-kind race competition around the Rivers of America! Disney took to TikTok to give us a glimpse into this fun event.

This race began in 1963 in Disneyland park, when a group of Cast Members decided to race around the Rivers of America for fun! That sparked a beloved tradition that has expanded to Disney Parks around the world! This year’s competition in Disney World marks its 47th year in Magic Kingdom with 74 teams. There were fun team names like “Grand FlOARidians” and “20,000 Oars Under the Sea.” This year’s winner was the “Beauties & the Beast” team!
